Dan Salvato is a genius. Probably one of my favorite game developers purely off of this game. I had first watched DDLC from jacksepticeyes youtube channel back when it first came out, and since Project Libitina never came out when it was supposed to (2018), I forgot about the game altogether. However, for some odd reason a feeling came over me and I decided to revisit DDLC, this time by experiencing it myself. Not only did I get reminded of Team Salvato's genius dialogue, foreshadowing, allusion and 4th wall break, I also got the full experience of creepiness and uneasiness that Monika creates as she continues to strengthen her grasp at the script of the game until their is nothing left of it except for her and the player. Truly an unbelievable story with twists and turns that are completely unexpected, it is crazy that DDLC is only a precursor for a bigger project. I cannot muster enough praise for this game and the developing team behind, Thank you for this experience and being insanely creative. More games like this need to exist, however the scarcity of them makes them that much more enjoyable, knowing that you will not be able to experience something like this again for a long time.
Overall, I give this game a 10/10
