If you want a game that's a pve looter shooter with very little issues, then this isn't the game for you.

If you bought this as a brand new triple A title, this isn't the game for you.

This game is a buggy mess, it has poor performance optimization, it doesn't look the best. For people buying this without prior knowledge of it, this is basically an early access alpha release. Buying a game like this is to support the dev in creating the game.

If you want to have a game to see what it can acheive over time and care from the devs i would reccomend it. if you want a seamless experience, you will not find it here. But if you want to support a dev to create a game that is: a giant always on pve map, with continuous firefights, tarkov esque. then buy it.

I did buy the supporter edition, i just would like to see more games in the genre and can spare the extra cash to promote it. But if what you want to buy is a complete game or do not want to support the develpers complete it: then do not buy it

Please take this review with a grain of salt due to me getting this as free from AMD for upgrading my graphics card. SO i do not have any monetary investment into it.

TLDR; Buy on sale at $30-$40
6.5/10 Game has fun elements, meh "combat system", fun "combat", garbage story telling and dialogue.
You get to play as Female Fantasy Magic Assassin Batman, if you think it sounds cool then yea i recommend it.
If you want it for the story then don't buy it as the story has no depth and characters and 1 dimensional.

I am on the fence about recommending it or not. I have not encountered the issues of frame rates and crashes that people are talking about, however it does stutter for me when doing certain tasks. Here are my PC's specs, which I'm assuming is the reason I'm not encountering some of the issues that are stated:

ITS TOO EASY
I went for the hardest mode and Im kinda just breezing through it, I play alot of DS3 and Elden Ring so i feel like i need to be playing the game with my feet as a handicap for how easy the hardest mode is; but I digress.

CUT-SCENES ARE RAMPANT, ANNOYING, AND DISCONECTED FROM THE GAME
The first 2 hours in this game are a nightmare to go through, the cutscenes just pop in out of no where, however you can skip it if you would like, other then not really understanding the plot you can read everything you need in the pause menu.

THE FEMALE LEAD IS GARBAGE TIER WITH HER WRITING
The main thing that was disconnecting me from this fu@k!ng game, which made me annoyed the most has got to be the main fu@king character. I felt as fu@king disconnected from her as she is with the whole fu@k!ng story. Her reasoning for stuff and thought throughout the cutscene are fu@k!ng garbage tier writing from the fu@k!ng studio. She is a highly skewed character that is the personification of being fu@k!ng retarded in every situation that arises. Enough of "Fu@k!ng"? Well get used to it cause that's one of the only ten words in this edgy teenage New Yorker's Fu@k!ng lexicon. It is just super annoying in any cutscene she has she has to say FU@K atleast 10 time's(I feel like its a quota for them to put it in her script). Even after you leave the city its all you hear in the environment from her when she talks to her magic bracelet; the studio was going for the Jack/BT from Titanfall 2 kind of convo's. You even get random popups to talk to it just like in TF2, however it falls flat in this game due to the female lead.

COMBAT SYSTEM IS KINDA SH!T
The targeting system when you lock on to enemies decides when it time to not target the guy anymore even if you haven't killed him. The game gives you the hints when the enemies will attack like your a toddler. From not 1, not 2, but 3 different places while fighting, worst part it is like a solid 2 seconds before they attack as well. This is also on the hardest difficulty(i think it is called "Craving Combat" or something like that), i don't even know how easy they had to make it for the story or explore difficulties. My last gripe is on the finishing move thing you can do; its when you knock an enemy down you can run over and quick time event to kill it. However there seems to be no correlation on you attacking them to when you can do the QTE or if you can do it, it just seems random.

THE COMBAT STYLE
The only pro I can say is the combat style. You are a fantasy magic assassin batman that parkour's everywhere and put rocks up any monsters butts along the way to the destination at 100MPH. Which is just super entertaining. if that is what you like then its a fun thing to play.
