Maybe you need to remove the quotes? It's been a while since last I did that.

As for the crash. Check your saves folders and make sure the permissions of the folders allow for programs to touch them, otherwise you could try launching the game as admin and that might fix the issue.

If you go to DST's mod folder, you can find a file called "modsettings.lua" which you can open in any text editor you want.

If you add:
ForceEnableMod("2966968749")
anywhere on a new line in the file it should force the modpacks mod to ALWAYS be enabled.

And in case you are curious, that seemingly random string of numbers is the mod id, and you can find the mod id of any mod by looking at the workshop pages URL, so if you want to force enable any other mods you can do this same process with the string of numbers found in any mods workshop page URL.

I completely understand. In relation to my last comment, I wanted to ask for permission to use the 'Hamlet Characters -Fixed and Reporked' mod as a base to build off of, to create a Wagstaff mod more in line with DST's current development (Skill-trees, added goggles, etc...). It is currently undecided if i'd ever make the mod public, and I am also in the process of asking all 3 parties for permission to use the code / assets.

Sorry, life has been complicated lately and so I have not had time to work on mods in a long while. And I have no clue when I will have time again.

Unfortunately, as I took up development of that mod after it had been abandoned by the original developer, Hornet, I don't have any of the uncompiled versions of the sound effects used in the mod. I wouldn't be able to provide anything outside what you yourself could get from downloading the mod. If you need the uncompiled versions, your best bet is to ask Hornet for them.
