shooting yourself in the foot and calling it an update.

In the new age of gaming it comes with alot of extra BS. And you know what else is BS? Beat Saber.

The new "TOS"

> 4.1. We give you the right to use the Beat Saber game (a license) to the extent of downloading it, installing it, and playing it for your personal non-commercial enjoyment.
In otherwords, you'll be cucked out of adrev if youtube or streaming is your thing. Nice and vague wording like all modern day Terms of Serv.
> 4.2. You may not do the following with the Beat Saber game:
4.2.1. use the Beat Saber game for commercial purpose (including e-sport and similar events) without our prior consent or unless specifically permitted in this Agreement;
4.2.5. edit, merge, distribute, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble the Beat Saber game unless specifically permitted in this Agreement, by our prior consent, or by the mandatory rules of the applicable law;
4.2.6. cheat, wilfully exploit bugs or glitches, wilfully harass or grief other players, or utilize any software or other means to do any of the aforementioned activities in the Beat Saber game;
4.3. We retain all ownership rights to the Beat Saber game. No proprietary right is assigned to you via this agreement.
tl;dr The modding community has supported this game along with the "youtube/stream" community for a long time, and this is an obvious smack in the face the both of them. And lol on that "griefing other players" part, yeah I flashed my sword in a racist way. Que the E.U.

THE GAME
I love Beat Saber, or rather, the core gameplay of it. I'm a sucker for rhythm beat and this was one of the reasons I bought into the VR meme. The premise is simple as hell and downright fun, I often find myself spending 5 hours straight on extreme+. However I would not be able to spend so much time on the game by itself, for It's heavy lack of base songs. Only to be recently updated with songs you have to pay extra for, (yea, okay I have mods, I don't like the songs they're offering anyways.) That was the case until this TOS update pretty much says LOL DONT DO WAT MADE THIS GAME.

SUMMARY
Mods supported this games lifespan, YouTubers and Streamers are literal free advertising for this game. And in place of that you have overpriced DLC and a TOS that denies your fun if they so choose too. Not only can they remove your ability to play the ONLINE PARTITION of the game, but BAN YOU FROM THE ENTIRE GAME for what you have as your GAME NAME Take that as you will.
