Azathoth is the creator of everything in the Cthulhu Mythos. But he didn’t just create reality like a normal omnipotent character would. He’s actually a big sleepy head who dreams all the time. The only catch is that the dream is actually all of existence. Since existence is a dream when Azathoth wakes up it will go back to just being him. Azathoth is the start and end of everything.
