Got banned over 7 years ago, whilst playing on a community server, because I was apparently hacking (I wasn't). Game devs ignored my pleas for help. Can't recommend, obviously.

Great game, best early access game in a long time. Think DayZ + H1Z1 + real life.

It goes without saying that I love this game, so far I've spend over 135 hours playing it.

The review in short:

Pros:
- It's fun racing and trying to score;
- It has active developers;
- New updates (like cars, maps and gamemodes) released every now and then;
- Not paid-to-win.

Cons:
None.

Long review:

When this game was first released, I purchased it before the hypetrain took Rocket League to the next level. Back then, it only had the standard gamemode and a number of cars. The developers quickly released some patches for bugs that needed fixing, but it was a very well made game upon release.

The DLCs released by Psyonix are definitely worth their money if you're interested in new car models, wheels, boost designs, etc. No DLC is paid-to-win, and microtransactions have only been introduced recently: crates and keys containing more visual items, there are no paid-to-win items at all, so that's a big plus.

As for the gamemodes, it started with a pretty simple arena and you just had to score. Soon after they released the hockey gamemode, where the ball was turned into a puck which actually behaved like one. After that they released the hoops gamemode, which is similar to basketball. You have hoops which are elevated, and you score by making the ball go through the hoop from above (it doesn't work from below, I've tried).

Just recently they released the rumble gamemode, in this gamemode you play in a random arena (from the default gamemode) and you get random powerups every 10 seconds. To get a new powerup, you have to use your current one and wait for 10 seconds. Powerups can include teleportation (you vs. an opposing player), force boost on an opposing player, a magnet which attracts the ball towards you from a certain, short, distance and a lot more. It's quite fun and refreshing.

Other than the abovelisted gamemodes, you have regular and ranked gameplay. Both try to match you with players of your skill level as best as they can, and they quite often do a good job of doing so.

This game is definitely recommended, because at first I did not think I would be playing this game as much as I do.

When I saw this game on the store, it reminded me of the "Death Race" trilogy. Driving around in a car with guns you've designed and build yourself.

Here is a summary of my review, you can fully read it if you want to:

Pros:
- It's fun;
- You can build your vehicle as you want;
- Easy to use interface;
- Doesn't get boring too fast;
- You can rebuild your whole vehicle as many times as you want, without penalties;
- The AI is programmed nicely (not too bad, not too good);

Cons:
- Every game you play is 1v1, 1v2 (or the other way around) or 2v2 with AI;
- Not too many players play this game;
- AI has some silly movements at the start of a game;

Full review:

When I started up the game, it was originally in Russian, but that's probably due to the developers, and then the tutorial started. Every level (so far) you reach gives you items and a little story, and with those items you can design and build your vehicle as you desire.

As for the building itself, it's quite easy. The game has a slick interface so building your own vehicle isn't too hard. I'm not one for designing my own vehicles, but I found that if you take one of the designs the game gives you and remove everything (I placed it onto the ground so I could grab it again) and keep the frame, making your own vehicle is rather fun.

The game offers a vast number of items and weapons you use to build your vehicle, and because it is set in a post-apocalyptic world, most items are scrapped from other vehicles, such as an airplane cockpit for your cabin, or van walls, doors and windows. Building your vehicle in such a manner that your cabin is protected but at the same time you have enough space to mount a few guns and blow your opponents away, is critical and again, fun to do. The game also gives you certain sprays you can use on most of the items, to give your vehicle the colour you want.

The game's population, however, is very low. The game offers two types of battles you can do: for items, or raids. Raids consist of (usually) 3 to 4 players against a group of AI. Battles for items consist of players vs players, and the empty slots are filled with AI. So far I have joined fights where it was 2 players vs 2 players, and the rest was AI. Then again, every battle I participate in, has 1 or 2 players in it.

The battles themselves are quite fun and can be quite challenging sometimes. Two types of battles (for items) are available: one where your target is capturing the enemy base, or to capture the neutral base. You can win by either fully capturing the base or destroying every enemy. If all players are killed, who-ever captured most of the base wins, or who-ever has more vehicles available in case no-one captured a base.

The last game I played was another player and myself versus two other players. I managed to destroy the guns of both the enemy players and was shooting at one of them to destroy their cabin and thus their vehicle, but the game ended. Even though my teammate and I were still driving around shooting them, and they were driving around without guns being unable to do anything, it was a draw. Trust me, if we had 10 more seconds, they would both be destroyed.

As for the AI, it's not the best, but at the same time it's pretty well made. When a game starts, one or two AI tend to crash. Whether it's into your vehicle, into another AI vehicle or into the wall, every start gaurantees a crash or two. However, half a minute into the game, the AI does a very good job. They're not too accurate, but not too stupid either. Unlike players, they just aim for your vehicle or cabin.

Purchased it for the multiplayer.

Created a character with a little customisation, joined a PvP survival game and gathered a lot of loot. Got killed on sight. Spawned near by, found a gun, killed the player who killed me. Looted all of his items.

Joined an "Altis Life" roleplay server. Two players immediately robbed me before I could even buy different clothes or anything, cuffs included (the non-sexual kind).

Told them I literally just joined, so the guys started dragging me all over the place in attempt to find a cop who could uncuff me. Spend an hour being dragged around.

Would definitely recommend.

Did not use this app a lot since it's not neccessary for my PC, but it definitely helps some of my friends whom have installed it and they do use it regularly.

If you're in need of software that makes sure your CPU resources are used primarily for your games, that functions with Steam games, this is the program you want.

I love this game and Bethesda showed other developers how to actually make a game: work on it for a few years and announce it right before release, and then manage to release it on time.

This is the first review I've ever made and that's just to say how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this game is.
There's no tutorial, so you assume it's your average FPS shooter and you're right: the controls are the same, everything is pretty much self explainatory except for the part where you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shoot.

Hold down right mouse button to bring up sights or zoom in, right? Hell no, let's give you some random red cross which I assume is to show you where your bullet lands.

Being shot at? It's usually from the direction you hear the sound coming from, but no here's a red arrow to show you were it comes from. Wait no sorry, other direction..

I wouldn't even play this game if I got paid for it. Heck, I regret playing it for free.
