Just buy the first game. This one is a downgrade in every way.

The Developer has never done any proper updates they promised for DDS1, now they make a second game. This is just a pure rip off

Before anyone questions that I have less than 1 hour, I have played the closed demo of this game extensively and already thought that it was quite bad. I bought the full release to see if they fixed anything, but they haven't.

The developers are straight scammers. Always have been. Promised lots of things and never delivered

doesn't start

From a purely objective view this game is quite awful in many ways and doesn't have much of anything to do with chess besides the aesthetic.
It makes my PC run as if I was playing Cyberpunk even though only a chessboard and a small room are being rendered. Absolutely no idea what the Devs even did to make this happen.

Even simple stuff like setting your resolution doesn't really work. I can't get it to go to proper fullscreen mode.

If you play chess and expect a chess like game, forget it. This game completely goes against the fundamentals of chess and makes you fight 1v1 with guns if you take a piece. In fact, you're probably even better at this game if you never played chess.

You can attack the king directly and he has a horrible attack so it's possible to end a round in like 3 rounds if you do a good tactic. You don't win by checkmate, you just win by 1v1ing the king with any piece and winning. Checks, castling or any other rule of chess you know don't exist in this game.

This is a weirdly designed shooter disguised under a chess board design.

It's fun because it's so hilariously bad though. I recommend it for a couple rounds of fun, it's free afterall.

I just played a bit of this game because I also liked Internet Cafe Simulator from the same Dev, but damn I had to refund it. Just in my 30 minutes of playtime I encountered so many bugs, the game is reaaally badly made. Usually I enjoy low quality indie games but this is just ♥♥♥♥ for an almost 20€ price tag. If it's on sale for ~5€ then it might be worth a buy. Otherwise just play Internet Cafe Simulator 2, it's much better.

Very eye opening experience about being homeless. Great game.

Hard in the beginning but gets easier as you become more skilled

I've been waiting to play this game for like 2 years now and I love it.

It's basically like Papers Please but in 3d. But it's not a direct copy and offers a good map with different things to do besides just signing papers.

Worth to buy 100%.

Good game and very detailed world but nothing groundbreaking. Worth buying if you like Harry Potter

Only played this shortly but the game is outstanding so far.

Not for everyone but if you like the visuals on the store page and are intrigued by the setting then I recommend to just buy it and try it out.

This game is much better than I previously thought. It's not just unique, the story is beautifully written with many plottwists and narratives throughout the game that all connect at the end. Your choices matter too, and the game doesn't hold your hand. The developer doesn't assume you are stupid, and you have to remember certain things and characters on your own. There isn't a "Do X" quest marker at all times and you have to figure out things on your own. Very refreshing

This is basically a piece of art. Only nitpick is that the controls and mechanics are a bit tedious, but this doesn't hurt the games story.

While clearly being from a small Studio and not having tons of money for development, this game is up to par with the likes of Witcher 3 when it comes to RPGs. In fact, for actual RPG mechanics this game is much better even, you are given tons of freedoms. If you want a 2000s-like RPG with modern controls and mechanics, this is what you want to buy.

The game is not perfect but it has such a good charme, you can really feel how the devs put their love into this one. Definitely in the Top 10 games released in the last decade.

DLCs are a tad overpriced and some of them lackluster, but on sale you can get the whole bundle for very cheap, then they are worth it.

I want to recommend this game but I really can't at the price.

The premise it's fun, there's lots of stuff to discover and for the first hours you really get into it, the gameplay loop itself is great, but then the bugs keep on coming and coming and coming and you realize how shallow this game actually is.

I had to reset my entire gamesave 2 times because suddenly ALL my stuff and money was gone when loading in. The mechanics are clunky and often not well thought out, it's horribly optimized, many visual bugs (customers invisible), and much more ♥♥♥♥ to talk about

Even if you don't experience issues, the game is pretty much over after like 5-10 hours at most of gameplay if you're doing it fast.

If you buy it for 5-10€ it's cool and great for a couple hours of playing, but not at the current store price. Typical buggy mess like most in the Simulator genre. If you love those you'll love this one too, but for any normal person this isn't a good game.
