The bots and cheaters make it unplayable

Sony as a publisher just forced people to sign up to PSN, forcing thousands of people in countries where PSN isn't allowed to be unable to play helldivers 2
Probably wouldnt buy Sony products if i can in the future

Edit - PATCH 01.000.400 was an update that attempted to re balance, with more buffs than nerfs, on the weaker and neglected stratagems. Key patch takeaways:

Machine guns - Stalwart, LMG, HMG have improved damage against durable armor
Turrets - Many turrets (excluding Tesla) have improved durability to improve sustainability
Super Samples - Can now be found at difficulty 6 onward instead of 7 onward
Previously useless stratagems -Eagle Strafing Run and Orbital Gatling got improved armor pen to hopefully be more used.

This patch shows that arrowhead does consider and act based on what the community feedbacks. They may not be perfect, but they are doing a better job than many other developers in receiving feedback and making changes to a game in a timely manner.

Currently stuck in Version 8.9.8, could not play the game because not in latest version.
Have verify game files, reinstalled, verify game files again, delete all files and cloud files, and reinstalled. Last i could have done was change which disk i download the game but I am stuck in being the "wrong version"

A shame too cos i would love to play the game if the game allowed me to even play

Helldivers - this review is based on only the base game and ranger dlc. Also playing with friends that own all DLCs
Helldivers is a good game (9/10)

If you are thinking if DLC is nessesary to win, maybe....
You can definitely beat the game with just the base game BUT
instead of using the standard EAT-17 rockets , you could have an ANTI-TANK MECH
instead of using the standard grenade-launcher , you could have a 3-BURST MORTAR and IT'S ANTI TANK
instead of using the standard Scythe Laser rifle , you could have a SICKLE LASER RIFLE (almost 1.5x dps)
instead of using the standard EXO-44 stomper, you could have a OBSIDIAN MECH that has 2 AUTO CANNONS

my point is, you dont need it
except the Ranger DLC, you need that for Mk3 UAV, that thing helps you find samples and will definitely help you get samples **2-3 times** faster than you normally would

This review is possibly biase because i played fallout3 and fallout:new vegas
This review has been reviewed based on 180 hours of gameplay, instead of the initial 70hours

If i had to summarize fallout 4, it would be "half fallout half skyrim with a pinch of borderlands"

+Content-wise is very high
+Story-Driven
+If you are familiar with fallout combat, its similar
+Exploration could take up to 70 hours and still be unexplored

*NEW*180hours* Exploration still fresh, but if you dont have the time, consider a wiki

-Settlements can be time consuming,but can be ignored
-Crafting requires prerequisites, might be infuriating to some
- -Got a noticable bug when sometimes you get stuck in night vision if using a certain scope,
but can be fixed on PC using this command " rimod 00094636 "
- -Some quests can be bugged out, but can easily be googled how to fix it, maybe got 1 bug every 40 unique quests

*NEW*180hours* The minutemen quests are &@#! annoying SAVE THIS SETTLEMENT, KILL SOME RAIDERS. At least you could just pay the kidnapping for 200-500 caps.

First thing i have to mention is, this game is DEFINITELY pay to play.

This review is made on the mindset that you paid upfront anywhere from 20usd-40usd for Either the Wayfarer Bundle or the PathFinder Bundle.

The Difference between Wayfarer and PathFinder

The only things you need to consider are-
Another 20usd for a silent bow and a backpack.
The extra 3 months membership is not something you should consider.
If you want to try using a silent bow to hunt animals ,and would like to carry more than 1 weapon, then you should consider the PathFinder Pack.

Now then,
Why is the hunter fun/not fun.
+Authentic* hunting (Close enough i think, i never hunted IRL)
+Multiple animal varieties
+Multiple Types of guns to use(Rifles,Shotguns,Bows mainly)

-Very slow game
-a Kill can be anywhere from 20 minutes to 90minutes, depending on your skill level and luck
-an Animal might survive after getting shot and escape so far you might not find it, wasting another 10-30minutes
+That said a kill is more gratifying because of this

Should you buy a bundle and play this game?

If you want to find a game where you can have fun killing animals easily- No
If you just want to kill animals- Maybe
- if you have the patience
If you would try and experience a new type of gaming, of Slow pace and patience-Yes
If you are willing to crouch/walk 85% of the time, listening to nature, scouting for animals- Yes

Game is slow, expensive, and might not be worth your time.
But a kill you gain after hunting it for 30-90 minutes feels great.

EDIT- i realise i could get 5 kills in a 72minute session, so if you have a decent amount of skill in the game , you are able to get consistent kills every 10-20 minutes or so

This review is made after about 10 hours of multiplayer with 3 friends(4pack).

-TLDR-
Would recommend if you plan to play it with friends,4 pack is recommended
Casual enough that you could just attack pirates and trade freely
Trading can get complicated but profitable

It is a casual game where you could either focus on trading or battling pirates.

-Combat-
The fighting is simplistic, you point your broadside of your ship against his ship all the while trying to get behind him so he can't point his gun to you.This is your "standard attacks"but is enhanced by new abilities, such as a Fire Barrel(Grogolov Cocktail) that does AOE fire damage;A Water Barrel that does AOE Heal to friendlies.

-Combat-Items-
Items have stats that enhance your combat capabilities.There are Damage,Range,and Accuracy for hitting your targets.Then there are Sails,Hull,Mobility,and Speed to Avoid/Take Damage.

-Trading-
Trading at a new region first involves taking over towns from pirates in a region. Buying abundant resources for cheap and selling it at other towns with high demand.Occasionally you get Quests for making a new town, and you get to name it, which is half the fun of making the town.More towns increases more Demand and Supply for a region. Potentially making more Profitable runs and cities become more closer to each other.

-Trading-Items-
Important stats for trading are Diplomacy,Speed,Cargo Space,and Maybe Mobility(Turn rate of a ship).Diplomacy gives you better prices for buying and selling goods.Speed should be obvious, but Mobility is dependant on your map layout.
Cargo space are slots on your ship.The more slots you have, the more quest/trading you can do simultaneously.

-Ship types-
There are ships for Combat,Trading or Both, you start with a fairly small ship.You Progress up by buying a ship with hardearned gold. If you plan to fight pirates, a high offence and/or defence ship is good.Trading would require either a Speed Ship or a huge cargo space amount. Both is just having Average stats of Offence,Defence,Speed,and Cargo Space.

-Replayability-
When you reach the so-called endgame, there is almost nothing else to do anymore. Trying out new ships can be done in your current play through, and you can respec your skills in towns. I would say after this play through I wouldn't bother starting a new one.However it was definitely a fun game and worth my hours spent

By far the most common death to me is
RPGs and Team-mates.

Coop is by far the most replayable gamemode compared to PVP.
Bots have God aim, can kill you at any range with iron sights. Grenades always land on you.
What more can you ask for a hardcore game?
