This game is pretty fantastic, the art design is great, story is great, music is amazing.
If you're taking your time you can probably last about 8 hours in a single run, if you're skipping every conversation and ignoring the side stuff, you'll be done in half the time.

A lot of this game is in the story, less about the gameplay. The majority is spent building on your kingdom, getting to know the stories of the individuals in your lands and deciding how you will affect their tales. It also relies on you making some tough decisions. Someone's food was stolen by your enemies? Do you give them food that they lost due to your actions or feed your army to prevent some from deserting? A minor lord did something dishonourable but they offer their army if you spare them, what do you do? Your people are asking for gold to rebuild but you need the gold to reinforce your castle. Plenty of decisions to be made.

It's great fun and worth a couple of playthroughs, it's best to go in as blind as possible cause there's a few twists, some predictable, some not. Only gripe with the game is that when meeting with people each week, you can't hold off from making a decision until you've spoken to everyone, sometimes I'll send my general to help some guy and realise I needed him for something much more important but I don't get that option again later, huge issue in my opinion.

But yeah, game's good, maybe a bit expensive so wait for a sale I guess.

A nice change of pace compared to the last DLC. While the majority of it is a series of fetch quests the main focus is the development of the friendship between Henry/Sir Hans which makes up for the "Go get this for me Henry so I can shag this girl" as it shows some of the funniest moments in the entire game. In KCD fashion it was brilliant but had quite a lot of bugs which caused me to go back a save once or twice.

We need more Henry and Hans. A sequel to follow up the ending of the main game, another DLC or a buddy cop show, I just need more of these two being idiots.

TL;DR at the bottom
This game... where do I start? Not only is this game one of the most stunning games I have ever seen, it's looked after by one of the most audience engaging gaming companies I have seen to date. It's combat is possibly the hardest I've had to endure in a game and that just makes it all the better as you really feel like you earned a win when you have a 1v1 duel against a knight, however good luck facing a group of more than 5. Also my personal favourite parts of the game are during these large battle sequences with dozens of NPCs which, while are rare, are spread out throughout the game and are all unique.

To add to it, WarHorse set out to make a historically accurate game and actually achieved it, I've joked before about learning from something like Assassin's Creed but KCD really did teach me about a time period in a location I likely never would have learned elsewhere. Also the Story (while ends on a bit of a cliffhanger) is well written, is played amazingly by it's actors/actresses and is generally fun to do alongside other quests where you can meet hundreds of unique NPCs.

As an RPG it's fantastic, plenty of ways to develop your own 'Henry' to be a thief, a knight, a merchant, etc. It's also not forgiving with how you treat yourself, NPCs will actually respond based on how bloody and dirty you are and change their speech based on your appearance.

For Negatives, the game was a broken mess for the first couple weeks with several game breaking bugs which turned away many including myself for about a month, however I came back to a great experience. The game still has bugs yes, but WarHorse does work hard every day to fix them and are doing a pretty good job at it.

TL;DR
This game is fantastic, WarHorse are the absolute best. I encourage basically everyone to get this game and try it out, might be expensive so wait until sale. DLC is also pretty good so far.

Also ♥♥♥♥ that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mission in the monestary, first try... got stuck for 2 hours.

Pretty good first DLC for an outstanding game, however like WarHorse, I recommend making a new game when playing this DLC as if you have already completed the game and have accumulated a large sum of Groschen, this DLC can be completed in a couple of hours with basically no problems as everything combined costs between 90k-100k.

All in all, well done WarHorse, eager for the next DLC however I hope for additions to be made for 'From the Ashes'

I can recommend this game to anyone, whether you like to be a powerful leader who controls armies defeating the weaker nations or a simple trader buying himself to be the richest in the world, Mount and Blade Warband is a game for every medieval era fan who enjoys the combat of swords, horses and bows.

Mount and Blade Warband also has an incredibly amazing modding communtiy, my current mods are the Star Wars Conquest mod where you choose your faction or try to make your way on your own to control the galaxy and the brilliant Game of Thrones A World of Ice and Fire mod where you have an endless route for your character.

Incredibly fun game with actually competent AI that are easy to command to really get the Commando team feeling during it's admittedly short campaign. With 3 stages being the introduction on Geonosis, the 'horror' side on the RAS Prosecutor and the finale all out war on Kashyyyk.

A lot of fun to go back to every now and then just to mess around, hopefully one day we will get a sequel.

This is my favourite game of all time, I have been playing this since I was a kid and was so excited for it on PC, you can have an endless ammount of hours spent on this especially with mods, I highly recommend the Clone Wars Era Mod btw. I strongly urge any shooter/star wars fan to buy this classic which will run on any basic computer and for a decent price.
