Far more entertainment than I expect. Lots of interesting videos and information.
Only downside is the omission of some obvious things such as Battle Zone, Sprint, 2600 Space invaders etc.

Still worth it though.

IS it Championship sprint (or Super Sprint) - no - but dont think its meant to be,
Whats important is that its entertaining. Has a few modes as well a race and the obstacle courses and time trial have that "Just one more go, I can beat that" factor.

Several months since release and it still freezes intermittently.
Unacceptable.

Unfeasibly bad performance. Tried turning off steam overlay, and running in BP mode.
Still seeing unacceptable and unplayable frame rates.

Great fun

Hugley disappointed in this. Loved the original RType. Loved RType Delta. Loved RType final.
This is all flash and no fun. A shadow of its former self.

Big bag of meh

I played the original on the XBOX and I guess I had my rose tinted glasses on when I purchased this.
Main story starts of a fun but starts to deteriorate the further you progress into the story. Quickly becomes very linear in terms of how you complete each mission.
Sadly the challenges that open up are just not fun to play either meaning if you make it to the end of the story theres little replay value either.
