So I own the basic version of this game and found out very quickly the most basic guilds such as Dark Brotherhood and Thieves guild are extra DLC to be purchased by Crowns or by their subscription fee membership. This is unacceptable and I can't play this game due to how much of a money grab this game is. Those guilds I have mentioned have been in every single ES Game to date. Why would I pay extra cash for something that should be included in the base game.

When I saw the sale for all the dlc's it was only for the major DLC packs. Not the other DLC's that they charge ridiculous amount of money for. I refuse to pay for Plus Membership when those kind of DLC's should be in base game. Maybe for the extra Dungeons but that is a joke.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to review The Elder Scrolls Online. We are glad that you have enjoyed the game's systems and mechanics and have had fun playing so far. We understand your concerns about the cost of additional content within the game and would like to provide you a few ways to make the most of your money.

One of the most affordable ways to get access to the DLC content is with an ESO Plus Membership. For the price of 1500 crowns, you will get access to all DLC game packs for the duration of your membership. In addition, you will gain many benefits including unlimited storage for crafting materials, double bank space, and 1650 crowns to spend in the Crown Store each month.

If you do find that you can not afford the price of the membership each month, you can use the crowns from previous months to unlock DLC permanently so you will always have access to the content you enjoy. You can get the first four ESO DLC packs for one bargain price with the Guilds & Glory DLC Mega-Pack. This DLC bundle that includes the Imperial City, Orsinium, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood DLC game packs.

The best way to gain access to all the Chapters in ESO is by pre-purchasing the newest Chapter: Greymoor. This purchase includes The Elder Scrolls Online base game, Greymoor, Elsweyr, Summerset and Morrowind Chapters. This will give you access to all of the existing main story content and major zones today and the Greymoor chapter when it releases.

We hope this information helps you find a way to gain access to the content you are most interested in so you can continue to enjoy the game. Again, thank you for providing your review of the game.

Warm Regards,
The Elder Scrolls Online Team

I saw this as a response from Bethesda Dev and this is what I am talking about. They think that those prices for those basic DLC that is in the core of every single Elder Scrolls game to date should be charged extra. Sorry no. Not Acceptable answer and one that will once again keep me away from playing this game. This is the kind of conduct that is downright horrible for a company to do.

I wish I had refunded this game but I can't. I tell everyone this with the prices they are charging for all those extra DLC's and the fact that some core elements of every Elder Scroll game is missing unless you pay subscription fee or insane amount of money of crowns is not justifiable excuse. I tell everyone to stay away from this title.

Recently I just seen Bethesda as a whole become more and more greedy and its sad to see a once well known and good company fall so low. Between the release of Fallout MMO and more recent releases of other games and so forth, I lost faith in this company.

Sadly for those who telling me to play WoW I already tried that and it got boring fast. And how is it entitlement when the most basic stuff that has been in every title in previous games. And don't give me that excuse its an MMO and has tons of stuff already. The core parts of the game I play are those two factions. Being an MMO it better have the most basic factions in the game that have been in every past title. No excuse to not have it. More excuse to ensure it has it.

For someone who works quite a bit and doesn't have time to play a game like this all the time its not worth paying for. So I avoid it now at all costs. Games like GW series I played but oh man, got boring really fast. I mean super fast.

This game definitely has very good content and I will repeat its amazing they did similar to SWOTR by putting audio for every npc and dialogue. I know there is insane amount of content but in order to get best experience it seems like you have to dish out a ton of money for simple things like Thieves Guild or Dark Brotherhood. The costs for those expansions yes, that is definitely 100% reasonable. And I hear from many ppl that in order to play this game with decent amount of fun is to pay subscription. I have decided no online game is worth paying subscription for. And the way this game is handled it pretty much charges a hella lot of money that I seen ppl claim there isn't that much content.

Okay here is my breakdown of this DLC. I will say the initial advertisement and trailer is very misleading and I would say actually false advertising. This DLC description basically states you get to run a vault like an overseer and do experiements and build your dream vault.

Now unless your really into settlement type stuff this is most likely for you but I advise to build a vault probably somewhere else after you do the questline for this horrible DLC. My biggest gripe so far is how little this DLC brought in terms of clutter / furniture parts of the vault. It does an amazing job in bringing in some really nice vault pieces but sadly Most of the stuff brought in this mod has already been done by modders. You are essentially paying for a watered down version of the mod version of this DLC.

Another gripe I have is that the AI in this game for settlers is horrible. They get stuck and usually don't do well in the game. But this DLC forces you to build a very tight corridor and the clipping of the floor happens alot with the settlers. To boot it took me a very long time to figure out how to setup the experiments b/c unlike in regular settlements all you had to do is press E and click on their task. This DLC for some stupid reason decided that they would script these and not allow you to assign them yourself. Which is annoying b/c you can do all the experiments without first building a single vault structure. You can literally just use the console and connect generator and such.

I have a ton of mods that adds a ton of settlement stuff. So all the new furniture / prewar stuff is already in my game. There really wasn't much unlocked.

I have yet to finish the quest line for the experiements but from what I read I have noticed the biggest flaw of this DLC. Which is the one I realized is pretty much false Advertisement from description page. It states that you build your own vault and run it like an overseer and do experiments. What you get is 4 quest for this alone. That's it. After you finish those quests there is nothing to do as a overseer. It kinda reminds me of the vault-tec representive in the intro telling you all these lies about the vault. This is it in a nutshell. They pulled out the vault-tec representative crap on you.

The lighting is horrible and I literally have to go maybe very other square to make the lighting decent. And to top it off I think the voice actor of the ghoul even didn't like doing this DLC. It was very boring and had no real comedy factor that they tried to pull off. In fact I am disgusted at how they did the comedy part of the quest. Lets pick on the stupid one and make him do all the experiments and not care for a minute of his own safety. Understandably that is what most vaults do anyways but I thought I would be able to do my own method of being an overseer. This DLC isn't worth 5 dollars and is very disappointing. I am hoping that Coka World is massive and makes up for the lack of content we should have been given. I will say this. I got season pass when it was 30 dollars. I thought the rate they went with content at Far Harbour that I was getting a really good deal. But even now I was mistaken. And for those who have to pay 50 dollars. It's not worth the price tag what you're given.

===2nd UPDATE===
Here is a couple things that need to be mentioned first. 4 Months ago Batman Arkham Knight was pulled of Steam, at the time before the first miniature patch I was able to play this game fine at locked 30 fps and it was smooth due to community fixes. We all know who that is and he has done more work than entire Rocksteady and WB combined.

So 4 months have past and the interim patch broke my game much worse than the previous patch. So it was even more broken, once again I was forced to use community patches done by community and not WB and Rocksteady. Then today comes and I am expecting to play DLC's.

As you can see from my playtime I already pushed over 100Hrs into this game. Well guess what, I have troubleshooted multiple times and yet to recieve all said DLC supposed to be released today. I was expecting to be able to play DLC's but that is not the case. From what I read on Forums the Season Pass holders have some serious issues and have been pretty much scandaled.

Now Pros
-Game runs decent if you lower your settings and not overdo things. Gameworks look good.
-Story was very well done and even the Riddler challenges were decent.
-When game ran smoothly on launch for me game mechanics were amazing and fluid.
-Lots of funny references and well done comedy.
-Unexcepted Ending though depends what you think is good.

Cons
-Rain textures still buggy, Only work every once in while.
-Gamework options are horrible for performance and should not even be touched or turned on period
-Game runs worse then launch day.
-SLI is still not fixed for those with said setup
-Villian claimed to be original isn't at all but a lie. Die Hard Fans Know him very well
-WB support is horrendious
-Apparently game now needs 12GB of RAM on Win 10. This is not realistic at all.
-DLC Content not fully released to Season Pass Holders
-Compensation done by WB is worthless if a diehard fan. If you own the games then your out of luck.
-Promises still being broken and patch notes released are not even patch notes but a joke.

All said and done I would not recomment this game to anyone and if you have a console then get it for that instead. PC right now has been treated poorly and WB has done nothing but lie through their teeth. Many Claims made and promises broken. Releasing the game with no performance gains is unacceptable. Many have claimed performance has yet to change.

===New Information===
After almost 6 hours DLC content is now downloading and can't wait to play said DLC's. Though I hear that for some game is even more broken now with DLC's installed so I am crossing my fingers hoping I do not fall into that category. Though even with DLC's finally being released finally I still would not recommend buying this game for PC. Get it for Console since it works marvelously on that since the PC community was not a priority.

I will state though the story is fantastic and a masterpiece but sadly ruined by many of the game issues that plague this version. You can get the game running much better but you have to go really far out of your way to get the fixes and at least doable.

===Additional Update===
After playing the game after its re-release I will say the game still needs massive fixes.Without using 3rd party help from specific topics in Batman Arkham Knight forum this game would still be heavily unplayable for many.

Though WB recently announced that until the end of 2015 refunds through steam and only purchased through steam are available to get full refund without worry of your playtime. I have obtained my refund and is still pending but time will only tell if the game gets any more serious fixes. On top of that WB also mentioned that they will speak to the community about things that apparently can not be fixed in the game. Reason why I got my refund. This is a warning flag in my mind and so be wary of this title. Tried playing the DLC's but some like the Red Hood DLC kept crashing and I felt there was no story with that DLC. Just mostly you fighting a bunch of enemies and majority of the Vehicle skins can only be used in racing which is a shame.
