Love the anomalies in this game especially the spinning book anomalies they are super cool

I wanted to like this game, I truly did, but its just so disappointing, the space travel is basically just loading screens and on the ground I have to walk for 5 minutes to mine 3 pieces of iron. The dialogue all feels unengaging and soulless. I never once played this and was like "wow that's really cool" like you should in a space game. Space is grand while Starfield is just mundane.

I understand the game is in early access, but before I go further, let me just say that the game isn't terrible, it does a few things right, but falls flat on it's face in a lot of areas.

I'll begin by saying what it does right. It has a decent amount of weapon variety and the spells are pretty good. The graphics are pretty decent as well. The game has sailing mechanics which is pretty cool to see in vr since there is a lack of games with that mechanic. The map is really, really big, which also serves as it's downfall too and this is where the positives end.

There are unfortunately a lot of negatives with this game. The map size is so big to the point that you'll spend most of your time walking around, even with the insanely fast walk speed and super high jumping. The combat is physics based as advertised, but it's super clunky. The AI is very buggy in combat and often hits you even if you block. For some reason when fighting I found that slashing doesn't hit very often and the only way i am able to hit and defeat enemies is by running back and forth stabbing the enemies to death. The voices all sounds like they are text to speech, which I won't completely hold against the game. The town has a raid feature which when playing I found occurs very frequently, about every 10-15 minutes. The guards often won't do anything when this happens and half the time just stand around until they die. One problem i'm not sure if intended or a bug is the fact that the starting area you can keep coming back to and the loot in there respawns which you can keep selling to basically infinitely generate money. I'm pretty sure these are bugs but the game with give you resources to build a single merchant shop but the items keep regenerating even after you build. If you leave the game any progress on the shop walls will be gone unless you finish them all, this could happen to the other parts too such as the roofing or flooring. If you leave the game with any weapons or items on your player, they will be gone when re-launching the game unless they are stored in you're pouch or storage chest.

Ultimately, I just cannot recommend this game there are just too many negatives and not enough positives.

Every time I come back from the Radius, I realize I am the only person there and my only friend is a machine gun turret. Then I remember, i'm working for the UN.

Been following the development of this game pretty much since it first popped up on itch, awesome game, great graphics, amazing developer.
