It's worth every penny...
From the art style, animations and banger after banger OST, Pizza Tower just oozes charm!
It's held together tightly with some super responsive controls and enjoyable level design. I rarely go back to play games I've finished or try to 100% them, this is one of those rare gems.

It's one hell of a pie!

SOMA does deserve it's praise as one of the better indie horrors available.

Having played this years after the fact, I was quite impressed! The first act really sold me on the vibe however, i started to get tired with the middle/2nd act, a story revelation, monster's game design and long underwater walking sections had me questioning if making progress was even worth while? After getting over that mid sections that bothered me I did appreciate and enjoy the last portion of the game.
Overall the entire package visually and audibly is top tier. Would love to have seen some of the game's concept art, the world has such an intriguing style to it. Dialogue and voice acting both were a personal favourite of mine!

You should play this!

A solid 2000s era adventure game.
If you enjoy Chibi-Robo! & Pikmin or collectathons you will certainly enjoy Tinykin.
The art style is lovely & the music is a real treat. It's worth your time!

One of the best games I suck at!

This game's introduction to mechanics and the genuine pay-off you feel is a rare feeling in other games, i've found. Learning to use those new skills in overcoming obstacles I thought impossible had me feeling way smarter than I really am. It feels great to play too, very well tuned. I struggled a little with the metroidvania aspect but overall it wasn't anything too confusing. The music is a great vibe for each area and the art direction oozes nostalgic 90's N64/PSX vibes.

This was an excellent experience and i highly recommend you give this a shot.
It's priced so affordably, support indies!

Early Access Review
Free-to-try.
Kinda squandered it's goodwill and excitement the way they brought this back.

This was incredible.
You can tell there is serious love and hard work going into this game.
The music is wonderful, the game looks great in "Retro" mode and the controls feel pretty tight too.

The only thing stopping me from finishing the prolouge/demo experience is a large skill gap.
It's tough for someone like me that isn't great at momentum based platforming.

Looking forward to the full release, doubt i could finish it but the devs deserve the support.
BRB, going to look up a video to see how the Pro's do it

If you enjoy casual deck builders, Poker, number-go-up dopamine and the esoteric vibes of Inscryption check this out!

I've found myself addicted to Balatro, playing for hours without realising. The poker deck-building hybrid premise along with the dozens of Joker cards that modify your run lends itself to wacky combos and experimental runs.
The music and visuals are solid, playing through it gives me Inscryption vibes or like my soul is trapped on some astral plane.

Well worth it! I hope people are able to mod this game to get wackier with it or that the Dev takes this experience forward with future games and makes other great games.

NieR is by far one of those "Hey dude, you heard about this game" type game. On it's surface it plays it like a straightforward dark fantasy hack and slash.
It isn't until you finish the game that it begins to show it's hand and the rest of it's unique ideas.
This is the kind of game that if it hooks you and/or are already aware of the NieR's series' oddness, then you will enjoy this game.

However, this is still a prettied up PS3 game. The combat is serviceable, the soundtrack has been rearrange but it is phenomenal. The kind of OST you'll be going to youtube to listen to after you finish.
It really seems like YOKO TARO and his creative team excel at the "Art" part of their games and not so much the Gameplay part.
To get the the real juice of the end game, it felt like a real slog. That said, getting the last ending make it all worth it again.

Nevertheless, if you like weird or cult-hit games - this is for you!
