Early Access Review
EAC implementation, on top of it simply being EAC and therefore atrocious, has made the game significantly less accessible to thousands of hearing-impaired players by classifying the mods they used to make the game more accessible as "cheats". Your so-called accessibility roadmap contains no mention of features designed to help them. You should be whole-heartedly ashamed of yourselves.

Though plagued with a developer team that clearly don't play their own game, Dead by Daylight has experienced many positive changes in recent times that have made the game way more enjoyable and balanced that it used to be. Good fun with friends, decent alone.

Don't worry about the recent influx of poor reviews, there are massive changes coming to the meta that many that have relied on certain "crutch" perks are scared to see. Only time will tell if they're for the best, but overall, yeah nah that's a uh pretty good job

When I was thirteen or so, I saw an article in PC Gamer magazine about a student project that had gained some popularity: The Outer Wilds. It seemed like nothing I'd ever played before so obviously I had to download it on the family PC and try it out. It was truly unique, and something I put quite a few hours in to over a week or so. So imagine my surprise when I see this pop up in my Steam recommendations six years later.

I guarantee there is no game out there that better encapsulates a sense of wonderment. I am begging you, buy this game. Give this labor of love the time it deserves, and I promise you, it will not disappoint.

I've never played a game more beautiful and potentially fun. It's surprisingly similar to Rust, in the sense that it's solely a numbers game. 4 dudes playing optimally on a sloop will always outperform 1 dude playing optimally on a sloop. Play it with friends or don't play it at all, unless you're keen on being chased for hours just trying to turn in the most basic of chests and trade goods. That being said, it's fantastic fun when tensions are lower and you can play a nice tune across that gorgeous water.

Played since the Discord days, and lo and behold, it actually managed to get worse! Horrid peer to peer connections, 30 minute plus wait times for killer, shotgun hitreg, horrible balancing, you name it! I want to love this game, so so SO bad, but I can't recommend it in good faith until it's a full, working product.

TL:DR, I played this with my grandmother and she adored it for its heartfelt moments and adorable charm, as well as its message of kindness.

I bought this on a whim during a sale and couldn't be happier that I did. I heard cute things, so I took this game to visit my grandmother. She was simply ecstatic when I asked her to play it with me (she loves point and click adventure games with a passion). We both adored it, shared laughs, and a whole lot of "awwwwws", even some sniffles. It's a heartfelt game that really tugged on our heartstrings. We loved it so much that even after she accidentally deleted our save data, we went through and played all the way back to where we were. This game truly made me smile in ways I didn't know I could before, and I couldn't recommend it more for anyone that wants a fun and heartfelt point and click adventure through a whimsical world that might shock and scare you at times. There are genuinely some darker moments to offset the happy visor that Dropsy sees the world through, but you'll come out of this feeling refreshed, like you just watched tons of puppy videos and can't help but smile.

I'm a simple man. If I hear Shirobon, I'll buy your game.

The biggest glow up of the millenium, folks. You haven't lived until you've fondled an alien ship's dongle to get it to take off in VR.

Fighting through Undead Settlement.
Controller gets tangled in rolling chair.
Input cord forcefully ripped out.
Ruined beyond use.
Mauled by undead.
10/10 would unintentionally ruin my controller and die again.
