DLC for a free to play game to show support for a solo dev working on the game? Seems like a no-brainer to me. I definitely recommend it. There's some really cool customization options in it as well and I'm sure more will be added in the future. Sick

Really fun game to remote play with friends!

Months back I was wanting to get a good roguelike card game so I bought Slay the Spire, Griftlands and Deep Sky Derelicts. Neither got me past the 10 minute playtime mark, I just lost interest and I think I had a gameplay vaguely in mind and they didnt meet those expectations for me so I kind of gave up on the idea altogether. Then when Inscryption came out I added it to my wishlist because it looked interesting, but I kind of forgot about it though. Then I saw a little bit of gameplay on youtube and immediately found that this game was what I expected those other games to be. I couldn't recommend it enough. You should get a really solid 10+ hours from playing through the whole story of the game, then after that you have Kaycee's mod which is sort of like an endless mode (but it ends) and thats easily another 10 hours of gameplay. I'd go as far as to say the game full price is already WELL worth it as is. But as this review ages and more is added to the game it will only become more worth it, and if its on sale you're hugely missing out by not picking it up.

Camera is choppy and awful even if you run it on the lowest settings. My computer can run very demanding games but not this one, it has nothing to do with hardware its just the most poorly optimized game in history. Only way to play is to turn v-sync on and use a controller and even still it freezes consistently.

If you're like me and "scary games" don't do anything to/for you, this game isn't just that. I genuinely had a lot of fun with this game. Making orders alone would've made this game worth it, but luckily there's collectibles, places to explore, and obviously a whole story to the game. To finish the game it takes about 4/5 hours and the art style is really satisfying. This game is worth it at full price, but if its on sale DEFINITELY get it. I rarely leave reviews but this one deserves to be recommended!

Small price to pay for a free game with such potential. It's important to show support for games with small teams like this one for instance with a single dev. He's listening to feedback and the game has a promising future! You get instant access to all the balls in the game, but dont think pay to win because theyre unlockable by just playing through the campaign. It also comes with some decent customization options for your ball and for your player banner, with more to come in future updates. But for me personally I just wanted to chip in to support a game I think will flourish more with time. Very much recommended if you enjoy the game.

Genuinely a lot of fun, the skill gap in this game is somewhat comparable to rocket league. Winning is really rewarding but when someone scores on you or saves your shot you want to give them props more than getting upset. Simple controls but require a lot of finesse to perfect. Some of the maps have a nice relaxing feel to them as well. Would gladly spend $5+ on it but its free anyway.

Also, check the playtime of the negative reviews. They're all instant negative review after about 0.3 hours. All the positive reviews gave the game a fair chance and seemed to really enjoy it!
