Im not into card rougelikes.... But this one

It's XCOM - FTL mashup... What's there not to love? It has it's drawbacks but the sole dev behind it is ironing the game out, which is another great thing. I'm pretty much sure that the mixed reviews are just because of ONE mistake that dev made.
I really recommend to try it out.

For now It's very enjoyable. Reminds me of Fallout 2 a lot. Can't wait to see what will be added.

Okay, it's like my first or second review so bear with me. STRAFE got a lot of hate because of "not being like 90's game" etc. etc. At first when I saw all the videos on yt about this game I wasn't sure if I want it. Gamespot review got me hooked, so I bought it. Aand I saw how many of those negative reviews were half-assed. Most of the time (Like TotalBiscuit review) the reviewer didn't get past Icarus level, and moaned how this game sucks because there is no space to strafe and enemies are boring. The game is hard, but I wouldn't say it's anywhere near hardest games I played.

Cons:
A bit of bugs, with make you restart the game (do not kill 2-2 shop keeper, it can lock you inside of shop)
Lack of bosses - there is only one last boss, who isn't that hard to kill
Lack of wariations of levels - it would be nice to have something like issac, bosses and every floor can have diffrent themes

All in all - I recommend to check it out. It's fun game, destroyed by reviews done by people who werent competent enough to even get through this game.
