An incredibly fun Star Wars dogfighting game. Playing in VR with a HOTAS joystick, I felt completely immersed in the Star Wars universe (though I must admit it took me some time to play it in VR without motion sickness). I haven't played the multiplayer (yet), but the short campaign has a good variety of missions and teaches you all aspects of the game in a fun and enjoyable matter.

Probably the best turn-based strategy game ever made, that'll make you keep playing for hours.

Child of Light is unlike any game I've ever seen: something like an interactive painting. It also comes with a great soundtrack and challenging combat (especially the boss fights). It's hard to capture it in a text, you should've played it to fully appreciate the game, but I definitely recommend it.

Good:
+ beautiful artstyle
+ great soundtrack
+ unique, challenging combat
+ provides a lot of Uplay points and rewards that you don't really use/need, I now have 590 spare points from just playing this game
+ fairly good story
+ dialogs uniquely written like poetry
Bad:
(- no real voice acting)
- only 2 difficulty settings
- fairly predictable story

Conclusion: an enjoyable and unique game, that I definitely recommend.
Score: 9/10

Evoland was a fun game to play. The evolution of the game is something that's unfortunately mainly done in the first hour and doesn't have the same impact later on. The game itself is a mix of easy real time and turn based combat, with an occasional puzzle and a card minigame. You won't have a lot of trouble playing trough it, except for one or two slightly harder parts and the final boss (which had a rather unclear way of being defeated). The storyline follows along the lines of the more classic RPG's, to which the game is a tribute. It also isn't shy to laugh at itself and the genre's history occasionally.
The major flaws of the game are that the gameplay starts to become a bit dull in the second half of the game. There are some issues with the pacing, which can combined with the low difficulty, slow down the excitement that you have in the beginning. The most annoying issue, however, is the save point system. It is done with nodes spread troughout the game world. These nodes are placed way too far apart, which means that you need to replay quite a bit if you get yourself killed, or if your controller disconnected and you need to restart the game. Installing a controller was also quite hectic, I'll put a fix in the bottom of the review.
Another thing worth noting is that the game is very short. You'll probably finish it withing six hours, so it's worth considering to buy it when it's on sale.

+ original mechanic of making the game evolve as you play make it unique
+ bits of humor and nostalgia troughout the game
+ small download
+ enjoyable
- too easy
- no minimap (at the start) and no questlog, so it's sometimes unclear what to do
- short
- machanics become repeatable and dull when the game progresses
- peformance issues during the final boss fight
- bad saving system
- generic storyline
- too many random encounters
- controllers are officially supported, but require some manual fixing to work

Summary: the game is fun to play, but has a lot of issues that prevent it from being a truely good experience. The replay value is low and it doesn't even come close to becoming one of my favorite games, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy playing it.
General score: 6/10

Controller fix: The game doesn't recognise gamepads unless you make both "Evoland.exe" and "pad.exe" run with administrator privileges (compatibility mode) and you delete "d8input.dll" in the game's main directory.

My favourite game (and it will stay like that for some time), Mass Effect 2 delivers a great story within this excellent RPG. I didn't really like the way the game starts and some controls are really horrible for keyboard users (sprint, cover and interaction are on the same button), but after a while it starts to become great. The game is filled with quests and manages to deliver a nice story while you're playing it. I really reccomend playing Mass Effect first, because this game imports your save file and all your important decisions with it (although you may change your appearance and class at the start of the game). Choice is again an important element of the game and it makes it into a personal experience. The combat mechanics are again pretty good and the ai is a bit smarter than in the original game. The voice acting is once again great, as well as the supporting characters whose personal storylines make the game even better.
One minor flaw exept for the pc controls is that the graphics aren't always the best (low-res textures), even on the highest settings, but you need to keep in mind that the game is getting pretty old.
Windows 8 users might need to use Windows xp sp3 compability mode and (if you're using it) you need to turn of Lucid Virtu MVP to play without crashes.

Summary:
Story: 9,7/10
Gameplay: 9,5/10
Graphics: 7/10
Sound: 8,5/10 (+ excellent voice acting)

Score: 9,8/10

The game has a great story and a fun gameplay. It may be a bit too hard at times, but with a bit of practice it shouldn't be a problem. The combat has some nice mechanics of customising your combos so that they work like you want instead of what the developer wants. It also has an excellent soundtrack which makes it an unforgetable experience. There are some nice and original mechanics that make the game even better, like the memory remix sequences.

The game has some minor flaws: it's clearly console optimised so the graphics are great at times but there are also moments when they look terrible (although it isn't much of a problem on max settings). Another consequence of this is that it's a good idea to play with a controller because the controls with keyboard and mouse may be a bit hard or unlogical at times.
Another minor flaw is that the story is pretty short (I finished it in about 14 hours) and there isn't much to do apart from it, so it may be a wise idea to buy this game in a Steam sale.
A final problem is that the game deprives the player of a lot of freedom and it isn't afraid to show it. It's filled with invisible walls and a lot of times you can't climb parts of the world that you normally should be able to climb (even your enemies can do it), which may break the immersion at times and it can also be a bit frustrating at times.

Nevertheless, it is an awesome game that I won't forget soon and I really reccomend everyone to give it a try. You won't regret it.

A brilliant game about the startup of your own game studio (from your garage). It may seem a bit confusing and hard to find the right combinations in the beginning, but after creating a couple of games you start to find which things work and which don't. Some mechanics like training specialists aren't very well explained, but after a bit of experimentation everything will be easy. It's very statisfying to see how your studio gets more fans and your games get good reviews. This isn't a game you will play for weeks, but I think it's really worth the money.

It's also nice to see that there's a little "thank you" message from the developers in the beginning for suporting their new studio, when you are doing the same in game (and you start to understand how important those first few fans are).

An excellent title that mananges to blur the line between fps and rpg games. The story becomes a bit slow for a while after the intro, but in general it's great. The game also gives you a lot of freedom and includes very detailed environnements. It's also great that the Director's Cut includes the dlc, but personally I didn't find that it was as good as the main game.
