Leaving optimization issues aside, it's a game that gives you tons of fun content that really makes you feel like you are hunting these monsters and fighting a war of attrition against them. Great times to be had, with (preferably) or without friends

Story falls short compared to the other games in the franchise. Not a bad story by any means, but the focal point is gun play, which got a huge step up from the previous titles. Guns feel punchy and responsive and overall the gameplay feels smoother. If you like the other games, chances are you'll like this one as well.
