Playing Dead by Daylight can be quite the fun experience. Earning cool perks, outplaying survivors/killers, and watching yourself get better and better as you get more game knowledge all make for a very fun experience. There's a lot to learn about the game and really fun builds you can create with plenty of customization choices both cosmetically and gameplay-wise. It's easy to grasp the basics, but learning the intricacies of the game and how to exploit them is what differentiates a low level player and a high level one.

This isn't to say the game is without its fair share of drawbacks though. For newer players, the overwhelming amount of content may seem intimidating because it takes a long time to remember what most of the 100+ perks do. However, going in with the mindset that this isn't a quick and easy-to-learn party styled game (like I initially did) but rather a game that requires time and effort to get decent at makes the experience a lot better. I highly recommend using various guide videos to determine which killer you want to play, how to loop and mindgame, farm currency, etc.

Another issue is the toxicity from survivor players. As someone who played more killer than survivor, I can ensure you that every 3 matches someone will flame you for beating them fairly. At least there isn't voice chat.

Lastly, I hear that the game frequently has performance issues on console, so if you or a friend is considering getting it on those platforms instead then you might want to reconsider. I personally haven't had any issues on PC, but it's still something to mention.

Overall, I'd say this game's biggest strength and weakness is its depth. Facing against a killer that magically knows where you are because you didn't know they had x or a survivor that tanks an extra hit because of y can be frustrating for newer players just trying to learn the game. However, once you realize that the killer had bitter murmur or that the survivor had borrowed time, the game becomes a lot easier to handle. If you want to see what the game is like for experienced players, then you should look at streamers and youtubers who have thousands of hours on the game. If that seems like a good time, go ahead and get the game. If not, then this isn't the game for you.

Well worth the price. Took 10 hours to beat the campaign, but there's some fun you can get out of the post game content too. Ammo caps suck though. 8.5/among us

This game saved my life.

I am 27.

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old.

When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and carried my children to bed with.. The hand I desperately needed to make sure I could continue to provide.

After learning of the severity of my self-inflicted damage, I was borderline suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man with no history of depression or anxiety. I have never had fits of rage, or been one to break down and cry, but I was in a low spot that just really buried me from being able to see the light on the other side.

Having nothing better to do, I searched for a game I could play, ONE HANDED while I recovered. I somehow stumbled upon this game and read some of the reviews. I decided that it had to be worth a shot... I must admit, I'm not great the game, or played nearly as long as some of you. In fact, I may have only played this game a minute or two.. With that being said, after doing so, I had a new found joy and hope for life. I was able to put behind me the pain and suffering that had been cast over me. I was able to experience other peoples joy and happiness. I was able to see the fruits of my "labor". I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minutes to this music long enough to realize that I was going to be okay.

After coming to that realization, I turned the game off, and I went back to work. It hurt my hand like hell but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so damn sorry for myself, and I became the father I needed to be in that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving as.

Today, I am close friend with my kids mother. We don't fight, or argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents, and friends.

I now have 3 kids. My third child is, wait for it, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my own separation, and we just stumbled in to each others life unexpectedly. We have been in a relationship for a year now, and are very happy together.

Moral of the story, you never know what life holds in store for you, and if I would have given up when all the odds were stacked against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Thank you

This game is like osu but if it wasn't absolute ♥♥♥♥ and never got updated. The diversity is apparent all throughout the game (you can select your character's skin tone, ranging from chimp brown to cracka white), and the gender neutral controls ensure my experience isn't influenced by biases towards the cis. In the game, you play as a non-binary cube trying to find their father after many years of absence. It's basically Hunter x Hunter in terms of story and art direction, because the game allows you to collect pokemon cards on steam, like in the chimera ant arc.

Onto the gameplay. Like I said, it's like rhythm heaven except on xbox. You jump the squares, commit genocide against triangles, and collect stars (where do you think Mario got it from?). The more squares you jump, the more stars you get. Personally I find the 100 coin stars to be the worst, as you can't tell which levels have enough until you've wasted your time getting up to 92 coins only to find out toriyama didnt put anymore in the stage. I'd recommend getting a guide for these missions, as they'll save you from wasting your time on these tedious stage goals.

Overall, Tom Clancy's Sonic Adventure 2: Eyes of heaven is the perfect shonen battler on the market right now. The turn based platforming keeps you on edge, and the graphics truly push the limits of Dreamcast units. It's got hip, it's got hop, and it's got heart.

Music - 8/10
Graphics 10/10 (Love studio gibli)
Online multiplayer - 6/10
Campaign - 8/10
Difficulty - 4/7
Overall - 9/10
