Pervy? Yes.
Advertises micro(haha! micro!) transactions a lot? Yes.
Sets up game elements so that some rewards are close to impossible to fully cash in on without spending money? Yes.
Sets things up so that playing without paying money involves a lot of patience and grinding? Yes.
Game is in fact playable on the no money patience and grinding route? Also yes.

Includes Nymphs floating about that you can direct to interact with stuff (sometimes destructively) but who will get bored and randomly interact with stuff if you ignore them for too long. While potentially frustrating, this mechanic works positively for the game as a whole on a few levels, and represents one of the dimensions of challenge in puzzles to solve.

If you've played many other merge games, then the mechanics on this one might seem very old hat to you. Or maybe they don't. I have no way of telling as this happens to be the only merge game I've ever played before.

Has time-limited (a few days to a week?) event maps with a sliding scale of rewards, so that's fun.
Has a "home" area where you can spend your grind time while not doing other things.
Has a series of quests and challenges (best analogy would be assignments vs timed quizzes) along a linear map with a story of sorts, and which is time-capped (for us freebie players at least) via one of two currencies (Crowns) that are harder to get without paying real money for them, but that you slowly refresh over the course of days.

Includes a question-asking sort of dating sim built in, where you've got to tell the nymph what she wants to hear, that indicates you've got an understanding of what her personality is like, and then she will ask you to give her a bunch of some kind of game item before you can do that again. I presume that after you've answered her questions three, and been given a chance to learn more about her enough times then something new happens. I just haven't gotten that far yet so who knows. :J

So I find the grinding a bit calming and zen like. Constant opportunities to perfect mechanical ways to solve puzzles, organize things, deal with RNG, plan ahead. All very slow-path, but that works for me and I'm beginning to wonder if I can research what would be the best way to kick some money these guys' way without actually rendering any kind of game shortcuts from doing so. *shrugs?* They've prolly got a patreon or something. I do know they have a discord server.
