Updating my review for Steam Awards cred.

DRG was, and still is, an amazing game. A procedurally-generated objective-based horde shooter with amazing developers and a great community. The latest update not only added a new mission type and a new weapon for every class, it effortlessly implemented an otherwise hated system of modern game design, the infernal battle pass, with the (hopefully long-lasting) promise that all content added would be free, and remain attainable by other means later on.

If you even remotely enjoy the genre, then get the game.

Things I've done in RimWorld:

- Built cool bases
- Created and trained an army of squirrels (they all died in their first battle)
- Turned field-stripping human beings into an art form
- Cut off the arms and legs of my enemies and placed them in a prison cell with the rotting bodies of their friends
- Cybernetically enhanced a tortoise until it became a deity for my people
- Started a cult in a church made of bones
- Worshipped forbidden beings
- Ritually sacrificed prisoners to give cultists forbidden powers
- Trained jedi warriors
- Gave jedi warriors tentacles
- Built a hotel with excess bones
- Used hotel to house other factions for relationship boosts
- Hired unpopular faction members to steal their kidneys
- Sold cocaine to hotel residents
- Used profits from organ harvesting and drug dealing to build new homes out of solid silver
- Built silver catacombs for squirrel royalty / Cybertortoise
- Started war with empire
- Commited war crimes against empire
- Made peace with empire

Needless to say, RimWorld is a very good game. You should play it.

If Mafia 4 isn't about the shady activities of Take-Two, I'll be disappointed.

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Everyone dislikes Take-Two,
You should too.

Yeah, I'm just here for Take-Two.

Great game, but only if you can get past the fact that you just gave money to one of the most malicious publishers in history.

Roses are red,
So is this game,
Without OpenIV,
It isn't the same.

In the past few years, we've seen more and more sandbox-esque games release that offer "truly infinite" potential for replayability. Yes, games like No Man's Sky do have infinite potential in a sense, but not in a way that can offer a new experience every time you play the game.

Garry's Mod is a very special game in that the potential it offers is not only infinite but every experience is vastly different from the last. You won't find a series of gamemodes that offer little to no change from the last, but instead a whole variety of gamemodes; each variation putting their own twist on the concept.

As someone who has around 800 hours at the time of writing, I can say that there's so much more to offer for this game. Even with this many hours, I still feel that I haven't even gotten past 1% of the content offered. You see, Garry's Mod isn't really one big game, it's a congregation of many games that are all very different. You'll find yourself attached to 3 or 4 games at a time, spending weeks just focused on a small collection.

Consider Garry's Mod to be a one time membership fee. You only have to pay once before you have access to a collection of games. The games offered by the membership are always changing, so you'll never run out of new things to experience. If you're short on money but still want something that feels like a proper game, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Garry's Mod.

One of the main issues with this DLC is the lack of any instant gratitude once you buy it. Many, if not all other DLC for PAYDAY 2 have something that will greet the player upon purchase. The issue with this DLC is that everything included within needs to be unlocked.

The DLC could be forgiven if the process of unlocking it's content wasn't a painful endeavour on it's own. The attachments are a really good addition to many weapons, the masks aren't that good but they might get worn once or twice. The problem is that many of the achievements in this pack are incredibly difficult and require incredible patience to complete. If you have 3 other friends that can tolerate the trials of this DLC, fair enough; you will probably get through to the content of the DLC pretty quickly. On the other hand, if you play PAYDAY 2 alone, you will struggle to unlock the majority of content within this pack.

People complain about microtransactions...
Overkill removes microtransactions

People complain about amount of DLC...
Overkill makes all future content free

People complain about their own lack of enjoyment...
Overkill cannot fix those people, they are beyond fixing

10/10 Overkill are some of the most tolerant devs I've ever seen

EDIT 08.06.17:
Seeing alot of people complaining about how the game they hate is free now. If you don't like the game, then don't bother spending your time being active in it's community. Go play something else you do enjoy; instead of wasting time and energy on something you don't want to be a part of.
