This is a review Stub, still playing the game and parts of this will be blank, things marked with "(stub)" are things that might change from my initial thoughts:

GTAV:Encahnced, also known as GTAV that has the enhancements from the PS5 and Series consoles, what are my thoughts on this new edition of the game finally getting ported to PC

so far pretty mixed, for many different reasons, the game now has high refresh rate support for the pause menus as they no longer hitch

though the enhancements that this version introduces are a bit mixed, they got rid of the advanced graphics menu and combined it with the regular graphics, as well as simplify other options to make things easier to configure, but at the same time some options now take up more VRAM space compared to the original, so the game is practically un-optimized memory wise, but at least you can force the game to work with 8GBs of VRAM, just pray that your game doesn't crash when doing that btw

raytracing is now part of the game, and while I do love Raytracing, did GTAV really need raytracing?
i say this cause going backwards and forwards looking at both the original lighting, shadows, and reflections with the Raytraced ones, things look more dry on the characters, like as if they haven't been drinking enough water, everything else is fine otherwise, but its hard to spot any other differences other then the characters looking dehydrated
speaking of if you do want to go the Raytracing route, utilize FSR3 and ultra as my RX7600 definitely could not hold onto 60FPS 24/7 without it, but i will say that FSR3's implementation in GTAV here is actually pretty hard to notice much artifacts, the only thing that is noticeable is some light distortion outlining the characters if you move the camera, but it isn't a deal breaker

(stub)The gameplay feels like classic GTAV, nothing much has changed storymode wise other then introducing new small details to introduce some concepts the player already knew, but i will say that the water looks a touch bit different compared to the original for the better, but still can be seen in other games now and days(stub)

Linux support is alright at the time this has released, basically in order to run the game currently you need to run Proton Experimental with the launch command "SteamDeck=1 %command%", but i still can't recommend the game if your someone who wants to play GTAO, as the game still doesn't have its anticheat setup correctly for BattleEye to function as its configured to be Kernel Level only atm
as of how well this would probably run on the steam deck for the singleplayer experience? i would believe it can still run well on there, but you'd definitely cant run raytracing and would need to turn graphics down, but i'd say it is for sure doable

(stub) would i recommend GTAV:Enhanced? that depends on if you like pretty raytracing, honestly i don't think the game needs it, but if you have the power then you can go ahead and try it, while if your on Linux, that would depend on if your still fine with just the single player experience, unfortunately i don't see GTAO being Linux ready for awhile now as this not having BattleEye setup correct is basically Rockstar doubling down on the no Linux support for GTAO, so far i give GTAV:Enhanced on its own a ?/10 (stub)
