If you're looking for Serious Sam: First/Second Encounter, this is NOT the game you want. If you want a Call of Duty with sub par jokes and weird looking aliens to shoot. Still maybe not the game for you. If you are looking for a Subpar game with the title of a beloved franchise looking to resurrect the love and adoration that was held when someone uttered the name Serious Sam but makes an absolutely mockery of it. THIS is THAT game. Bought it at 50% off and still regret my purchase so i decided to finish the story. There is not one moment you feel like a badass or fight fun iconic bosses, and their modifier for difficulty is send more enemies that require knowing but forgetting old game knowledge. Sirian Bulls don't always have a delay on their second charge if they miss. Same with Kleer Kurts. Rockets are laughably easy to dodge/avoid which is fine, but grenades and fire from multiple enemies becomes a little bit of an issue where you need to plan how to navigate which enemies are active because diving deep into combat in higher difficulties WILL result in death. There is a lot more to say about Classic vs Modern SS but if you've gotten this far you clearly are still intrigued by the game. Play at your own risk :)
