UPDATE:
As today (15 march 2021) marks the 20th birthday of Gothic I decided to update my review a bit.

This is the best game that ever existed for me personally (with Gothic 2 Gold Edition being second best). I can play it over and over again and I most certainly will continue to do so.

Both games Gothic 1 and 2 are very precious to me. They were both integral part of my childhood and as I stated above they both remain quite alive to me for which I'm extremely happy as I'll get old with them :')

Thank you devs for those two games! Especially - Mike Hoge, Tom Putzki and of course Kai Rosenkranz for unforgettable music.
But really thank you all.
