The game is good, but why is this rated negative? Two reasons:

1. Crashes more times than a drunk asian driver.

2. ♥♥♥♥ Take Two's anti-consumerism.

Honestly, had a fun time playing this game and getting to relive the reasons why everyone just loves our favorite vigilante, BATMAN!

One of the only games to ever make me tear up. This plays with your emotions like the last one, but for some reason I feel this game adds more than the Season 1. Telltale took this sequal seriously and put their 110% into making this the best it could possibly be at the time. One moment you are happy, then awe struck, betrayed, confused, left in waiting to play the next episode. To finish the story and find out who lives, and who dies. Another must have and a high and proud thumbs up!

This game, is an experience. The shear emotion that you endure throughout The Walking Dead is unbelievable. A must buy for those who are fans of the Zombie genre or just want a good emotional rollar coaster. Trust me, once you finish this game, you'll be begging to play Season 2 next.

This game is absolutely the bane of my existence, and I love it.

Okay I haven't written that many reviews and the last one I have done was a while back, but I'm putting my soul hearts into this review because this is how much I love, no, adore this artwork.

To start off, the gameplay and plot of this game is simple. I really don't need to explain the story considering it is in the trailer and starts every time you load up the game, but what ever I will anyways. So it is just you and your fat religious mother living on top of a hill in a small house, all is good while you play with your toys and Mommy is watching Chrisitan broadcasts when all of a sudden, a voice from up above (God himself) relays a message to your extremist mother that you are corrupt! Oh no! Okay I'll just make it short, your mom ends up trying to kill you, you escape to the basement, yada yada yada.

Now into the actual game! The way it works is simple, you start off as Isaac (thus in the name!) and you use your tears to kill the monsters, bugs, and other pieces of ♥♥♥♥♥ in each of the rooms. Sounds simple and easy enough? Well not exactly, while you do get helpful pickups like different variations of hearts, coins, bombs, and keys, some items you can pick up can make your run harder. Oh nice you picked up a pill! Wait it takes one heart container away?!?! You see what I mean? Not to mention some items you can pick up that stick with you for the ENTIRE run can be an annoyance. Bob's brain for example while explodes on contact and poisons enemies, can be detremental if you happen to get anywhere near and you end up getting damaged as well! Your first runs will not be easy, whether you are or aren't familiar with the Isaac series, you will not know what anything does in the beginning, and that is part of the fun. While you do need to play sometime and get used to it in the begininng, once you start it becomes a new drug. You come for more, and more, wanting to beat Mom at the end. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I had good stuff and I died! I need to beat mom though!

The boss fights are original, challenging, and fun. At the end of the floor, you need to defeat a boss in order to precede onto the next floor. Bosses typically are on the more challenging and stronger side of enemies, while some might just be a walk in the park like Larry Jr, others can be quite the challenge like Monstro II, or just plain annoying aand unfair like that mother ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, ♥♥♥♥ face the Haunt. After you beat a boss, you are rewarded an item, a passage to the next floor, or if you are lucky a devil room/angel room.

This game isn't 500 hours, if you really want to 100% it (which btw good luck lol), I would personally say min 700-800 hours. That isn't counting it's amazing DLC which add even MORE content. You have unlockable secrets, bosses, items, characters, challenges, and much more. The replayability is outstadinding and although I have 114.8 hours, I'm still not even close to stopping!

But is this game fun though? Well here are my criticizes start to come in, when you have a game that has randomly generated rooms every run, while yes it provides for a lot of replayablility, it won't be a guranteed good run because you aren't going to get amazing items like Brimstone, Quadshot, Bending Spoon, etc. every time. It isn't a criticism of the game itself but rather the mechanics of this type of game. If are looking for the OP run everytime you play type of game, it's either you get cheats for this game, or you just look for somewhere else. But that is where the fun lies, you just never know what you are going to get, leaving you wanting more and more, to complete the many endings to this game. Oh yeah, did I mention even after you beat Mom you aren't completed with the game yet? Yup, more final final bosses afterwards.

So what would I rate this game? I would genuinly rate this game a solid, proud, enthusiastic 97/100. The Binding of Isaac Rebirth has given me something I haven't played in a LONG time, it gave me anger, excitement, anxiety, stress, happiness, nostalgia, and those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ PILLS THAT ALWAYS GIVE ME CRAP STUFF.

Tips for this game?
If you want to win, pick Azazel as your character, she is too OP to lose as.
Don't for the love of God use pills, it's like playing Russian Roulette with 4 out of the 5 bullet slots loaded.
No matter what, always do the devil deal if it has Brimstone or Dark Bum, thank me later.
If for whatever reason you feel the game is losing its lust and you don't want to buy the DLCs (which I would HIGHLY reccomend you do), you can download the Anitbirth mod which just makes the game even better.





P.S. Those 3 points were taken off because of the Haunt alone, I despise that boss.

This game is a really innovative experience and is extremly fun. I didn't get board with this game once. My only cons are that the campaign is kinda short and I don't feel it should be priced at $12.99 when little content it has. I'd wait for a sale on this one but when it does come, I REALLY SUGGEST YOU BUY IT. I hope to see more content in the future.

In all seriousness though, this game truly is a gold nugget of COD before it came to ♥♥♥♥.
