This game is fantastic! A breath of fresh air in the realm of FPS games.

After revisiting the game a few months after the contraversy died down it feels like its balanced differently and is probably less difficult, but otherwise is enjoyable.

Very interesting take on chess. Definitely worth a few bucks if you like the source material.

Really will push you to think about the game in a new light.

Great casual game. Really fun to explore the open world, even if it is a little smaller than Just Cause 2

10/10 great game with a lot of content. well worth the money, especially if you can get it on sale. Workshop content turns it into a total meme also.

Worth the $2.49 I paid for it on sale. Huge world, lots to do.

Great game, holds up well even after many years. hundreds of hours of content jammed into the game.

The world of Fallout 4 seems much larger and more explorable than even other installements in the series, which are remakably open ended. The addition of settlements is a nice way to break up what would otherwise be extended periods of time spent either aimlessly wandering or running around looking for specific things. I also believe Bethesda's choice to include the developer character modeling system is a very welcome change to character creation, and give a lot more power to the player.

While the new crafting system can be daunting at first, it very quickly becomes both normal, and nearly indespensibe in the game, while also giving you a reason to hold on to that tin can. That being said, this also does reduce the need for trading items, as you can find most things in the wasteland and will be reluctant to sell anyting, in case you need the parts.

The leveling system is probably the one thing that I would have prefered they left asis. Where I see the benifits of their new system, especially dealing with the hacking/lockpicking mechanics, I still belive that the point based system is better than the purely perks based one.

Overall, I spent over $200, as I bought a gamestop bundle to get the pip-boy edition pre order, which is a lot of money. However I would still say that Fallout 4 was worth every penny.
