This might be controversial but i didn't enjoy Doom Eternal but i will recommend it because i am the problem.
Let me be clear i think the vast majority will love this game and the reviews do show that but for me it just wasn't enjoyable.....i will try and explain my reasoning.
I'm a gamer of a certain age and remember the original Doom and all those that followed, the good and the bad and the vast majority were great shooters where you could have a great time blasting various enemies back to hell but this version seems to have turned into superfrog (that probably ages me).
Some of the action in this game is superb and can be edge of the seat stuff but then as soon as that exiting moment is over i have to triple jump to a barrier where i have to swing to a pole before climbing a wall and speed jumping to press a button that opens something somewhere which can only be reached by perfectly timed jumps to a platform hidden round a corner and well you get the idea.
As i said most gamers will love this i just couldn't be arsed with all the platform shenanigans and ended up rage quitting and uninstalling the game :(
In the old days i would have happily given my copy of this game to someone who would have enjoyed it more but sadly those days are gone.
I fully acknowledge i am the problem here.......I think perhaps i have been looking through rose tinted testicles too much :)

Would i recommend Orcs must die 3, after 90+ hours it has to a 100% yes
It's Easily the best version in the series so far imo.
3 things however i have learned about OMD3:
1. I hate flyers
2. Archers and dynamite archers are the devils own sperm
3. Rift lord will age you by approx 5 years.

If you enjoy tower/base defense games you will love this, even if you have no interest in that genre it's still great fun and highly recommendend.

If you're unsure maybe wait for a sale but i doubt anyone would want to refund this.

This game does exactly what it says on the tin and it's no worse for it.
It has the very simple premise of spot the difference and that's it but it's done in such a beautiful graphical style with terrific ambient sounds that really warrant playing this game with headphones.
It's not a game to sit down and play for hours on end but in small doses it's a perfect waste of time
Good value for money, recommended.

When this game dropped at first glance i thought this isn't for me, then i noticed a few friends buy it and i took a closer look, i liked the graphic style, it's tower defense, the 8 bit music is great....hey it ticks all my boxes....I'm in.
Now 60 hours down the road and i'm uninstalling and moving on, i got pretty close to the end and in the top 12% for season 2 however i just can't justify the time for the grind.
At first the grind wasn't a problem, it felt like i was getting somewhere, new towers unlocking, researching upgrades, opening chests etc but at the end of stage 5 it just took a giant leap to grindsville and i wasn't paying the bus fare. I tried ploughing in another 10 hours or so but it was clear i was still someway of achieving 1 star let alone 3. I'm sure the severe grind is the result of this originally being a mobile game but it feels to much IMO for it to be considered one of the very best tower defense games.
So yes i totally recommend this game, it's not expensive (currently £4) and it's a lot of fun for a while but to me it feels like a game with no end game so maybe bear that in mind when considering hitting that add to cart button :)

Recommended but with reservations. I thought i would like this better than i actually did, the presentation is great and graphics and audio are good but the gameplay is just, well not quite as much fun as i had hoped.
The cars are tricky to handle but you can upgrade them to make things easier although but it just never felt right to me, possibly that says more about me than the game but hey my reactions aren't what they were.
Get it if it's in a sale, definitely worth a try to see if it's more your thing.

Like many i yearned for a modern version of sid meiers golf and while this isn't exactly the same it definitely scratches that itch.
Think of this as golf 30 years in the future or some sort of theme park golf. The mechanics are essentially the same but with some novel and interesting twists. There's travel tubes, fiery hoops, neon billboards and much much more.
I am personally not a fan of some of the quirky gadgets however you are never forced to use them and you can easily recreate your local park course or Augusta all be it with night lights and hover boards :)
Apart from managing and developing your course you can also put on and play in tournaments which can earn you much needed cash for upgrades.
The strongest element of the game is the designing tools, they are incredibly powerful allowing you create mountains or valleys, forests or lakes and it's just so incredibly easy to use.

The graphics are functional and could be seen as garish with all the bright neon however at times (usually during the daytime) the courses can look amazing and really show the game at it's best.
Sounds & music deserve a mention, your golfers chat away in true sims style and the music is very well done despite being a tad repetitive (but never annoying) when sitting playing for 3+ hours at a time.

i believe it's a one man development team and it's clear he really has put his blood sweat and tears into this game and for me it fully justify it's current £15 asking price, even without a sale this is definitely worth a buy,

Over 100 hours on record and i was depressed for every one of those hours, there's just something about the oppressive atmosphere of the game.

Been a while since i played one of the walking dead titles from telltale as they had been of steam so i wasn't sure what to expect but you know what i think i enjoyed this one more than any of the previous titles, if memory serves.
I found the story gripping and the acting excellent and some of the choices were heart wrenching to make.
i hear the final title isn't the best but for me this one is an easy recommended.

About 2 hours into this game i was on the verge of uninstalling it, the game play was turgid and the maps were on quick repeat but something told me to carry on and i ended up finishing the game as the Eleesa character.
So did i enjoy my time with Chaosbane?...... nah not really i'm just one of those idiots who had to see it through to the end.
There was the odd new map to cheer things up but that soon went flat when you had to play it again and again and again. Some of the skills you can add to your build were fun for a short while but i never felt under threat or in pearl, to be honest i played this on 'normal' level and i don't think i died once.
So no i can't really recommend this unless you get it very cheap in a sale.
If i had to give it a score it would be a middle of the road 5/10
