I'm gonna get clowned on for saying this but ♥♥♥♥ it. I don't mind when a small company does MTX, especially when the game just so happened to turn the way I look at aRPGs around. I know 2023 has been the year of the "almost good enough" for the gaming industry, but LE has so much good going for it, and I don't think they should be met with the same vitriol that players are throwing at the AAA industry.

I pay for a gym membership every month, I pay for gas, I pay for food, and I spend way more money on those things than gaming, yet I spend much more time gaming than I do eating, driving, or exercising. Gaming is probably one of the most accessible forms of media that you can be apart of so I don't mind throwing developers (especially when its a smaller company) some money if I play their game all the time.

This game swooped into my life at the perfect time. I played this game endlessly to get my mind off of my dad's lymphoma diagnosis.

There's just something about the warmth and love that this game just exudes that makes the horrific days feel a bit easier to live through.

I named my farmer after my father, Gary. He's young and happy, and free from cancer here.

My dad lost his fight back in September, so it's hard for me to load up this game and see the save file, but I'll always be grateful for what love this game gave me while my whole family was seemingly falling apart.

After putting a hole through my speakers, the game actually became much more enjoyable.
