Fun demo! Even though this demo has only limited content, it feels like a full game I'll regularly want to play.

It felt too challenging and overwhelming at my first plays. Some of the cards look like each other, like two different concerned cats with the same blue background. It was hard to differentiate them in a memory card game. I gradually got used to the game after learning some tips and getting accustomed with the cards.

And the cats are delightfully cute.

Gorgeous and fun!

First part that attracted me was the pretty visuals in a 64x64 screen. Musics and SFX have that matching beauty, too.

Platforming and controls are smooth, it's fun to explore this alien world. Abilities you gain are interesting, so is witnessing how all these new powers affect the protagonist.

Checkpoints are frequent enough, the difficulty isn't punishing.

Great experience, especially for a game you can have for free.

I can recommend this collection for The Bewdley Incident and Booi's Spooky Vacation.

The Bewdley Incident
Lovely, original idea. It's tense to watch and observe neighbours with the telescope. A feeling I haven't experienced in any game before.

Booi's Spooky Vacation
A weird game I loved. At first this game looks like it relies on the uncanny valley effect of both being cartoonish and spooky. But it becomes genuinely terrifying at certain points (no spoilers here!). I didn't feel that weight of dread in the boss and ending, though.

And the minigames were fun!

A Date to Remember
I liked its vibes and the story was intriguing. What I didn't like is how a significant part of the game is about searching items in the house.

The Nest and Statuam were too maze-y for my taste.

Such a fun combination of roguelite and horror, I loved it!

Simple to learn and get inside the trippy world of the game. Interesting, mysterious lore to explore. Great replability value.

Nice horror game you can beat in an hour. I enjoyed its atmosphere and the paranoia.

I wished the game was longer and focused on the paranoia part, like where we had to guess who the killer is. The game has multiple endings, but I didn't feel like trying to get the other endings because of some unskippable parts like making coffee.

The in-game objectives are very clear. It makes the game fairly easy, but at some certain part it confused me about finishing a task completely, which resulted my salary halving down at the end of the game.

I loved the low-poly visual style, especially the details like the camera getting wet in the rain. The only missing part is the walking animation of the customers not matching their movement speed.

I loved the musics, as well. It sets the tense mood of the game so well.

Overall, it was a nice horror experience.

Fun and creepy! Dollmare doesn't have any screamers (thankfully) or action sequences. It creeps the player without them.

The end of the story was kind of predictable, but it was an interesting journey how we ended up there. I especially loved the environments and the alterations happening at certain times.

The job parts start to get boring when our shift was about to end.

Overall, I enjoyed this horror game. My Steam playtime is 1.8 hours right now, but I played the first chapter as a demo outside Steam.

Addictively fun! Easy to learn, hard to master.

I must admit that I didn't know poker rules prior to playing Balatro. But Balatro does a good job explaining how to play itself, it didn't take long for me to get hooked in. Balatro reminds me of Vampire Survivors, another game I was hooked in. I see the essential parts that made VS such a success in Balatro presented with a much different gameplay.

If I'd ever criticize anything, it's how some sprites look blurry, like the packages of some Booster Packs.

I loved this game.

A collection of brilliant and fun games. Brings back the excitement of exploring each games in a cartridge your parent(s) bought you.

Most likely you won't enjoy every 50 of these games. Especially the first game, Barbuta, might leave a bad first impression with its clunky gameplay. But the more you explore UFO 50, the more likely you'll find a game that has the power to keep you hooked for hours. Genres are so diverse in this collection.

I tried every game, and completed 3 of them so far.

Mooncat is captivating with its surrealistic visual style and hauntingly beautiful melodies. Control scheme is quite unconventional, I believe this is for reflecting the difficulty the protagonist having while moving in this alien world. It is a reason you might dislike Mooncat, or enjoy Mooncat *despite this*, or enjoy Mooncat *especially for this*. Nonetheless, that unconventional control is inseparable from Mooncat's identity.

Attactics is a fast paced strategy game with an easy learning curve. New unit types are introduced as you progress in the campaign. Your computer opponent doesn't really have an AI that makes any decision, but its troops are more than yours and sometimes even more powerful, which makes the game sufficiently difficult.

Warptank's game mechanic is brilliantly creative. Pure fun. Levels get really hard when it's close to the end, but never to the point of becoming frustrating.

UFO 50 is a monument of indie creativity.
