A very charming game that has a surprising amount of depth to it. On the surface it's easy to just look at the pixel graphics and Rouge like game-play and think the game is just one in a crowd, but this game has a very unique personality that makes it stand out. From the levels to the characters to the artifacts you quickly find that each run can be played differently as you make decisions. Say you get a run where you end up with a lot of health, you may ask Do I take the chance and try to assemble the key, facing unknown risks but unlocking also unknown progress? or do I finish the run, knowing I will be unlocking on character, and hope I have another run in the future where I am this healthy again? You constantly are making snap decisions on the fly that will make or break a run. The whole time you are seeing fun characters and monsters and a charming soundtrack. This game definitely feels like the work of someone's vision that they were passionate about.

This game takes me back to my childhood playing pokemon snap. This game is everything I would have wanted from an expanded experience of that. Once you get all the tools the game really opens up with the logic game of how can you catch all the different bugsnax. and the bugsnaxs themselves are a huge draw and why I like this game so much. They are all very cute and cool with elements that always make them a fun combination of food and bug. Plus the sound design is this game is great. the Music is good and all the bugsnaxs sound good. The big surprise for me was the voice acting. The VA work in this game is phenominal with some of the emotional performances here sounding better than what you get out of some AAA games. The game is on the short side, but there are some house customizing and side quests to do if you want to keep on thinking bout Bugsnax.

This is a fun simple little game. It starts off as a twist on pong but gradually evolves into a much larger puzzle that tests some of your reflexes and logic as you progress. I recommend it if you want a much lighter but still mechanically sound game.

Early Access Review
This is a fun little program that lets you create little fantasy naval towns. I like the style and aesthetic of this game and it has pretty nice charm. It's a fun little distraction when you want to just make something in a spare 10 minutes or so.

I can not recommend this game. I don't know everything on paper lines up and I should love a game like this but something just doesn't hit me right. I think part of the issue is the physics of the game. I get it's part of the core gameplay, but to me something is just frustrating and un fun about the amount of flopping around that you will do, this is made worse by the flopping of other players around you. Then another issue is the rotation of levels. I don't know what happened but some how it just seems out of wack and so you play the same 3 or 4 games over and over again. I hate Egg Chasers and frankly I never want to play it again, and yet, there it is almost everytime for game 2. And I had a point where the non finale jump club stopped showing up and I thought they had taken it out, but no I just never got to go to it. Lastly the issue with cheating. I get now that they have fixed it, but it was so rampant and such an issue. The fact that memes and part of this games culture was the amount of cheaters should give a hint to how every single game had at least one if not multiple. You kind of think "why bother and why am i playing this" when it becomes extremely evident that you have no chance to win. I know I quit playing because I figured each time I queued up ultimately I was going to lose so whats the point. I know I'm not the only one who felt this way. Sure cheating might be policed now, but it's to late the damage is done. I'm not likely to come back to this game and that really makes me sad.

I really like this game. It feels like it could come of as pretentious like most art games, but luckly it avoids that. There is something oddly addictive to seeing what all you can turn into. There is also enough to do and varided enviorments that it feels fun to explore just to see what you might come across. Also the game is real relaxing, so if you have a spare 20 minutes, you can boot this up, explore a little, and then move on with your day. Overal a nice lite experience.

This game has been consuming my thought a lot recently. This is because this game has great characters, music, and atmosphere. On first glance one might dismiss it as phoneix wright but set in high school, however that is a mistake. This game is much more deep and mature in my opinion. There are many elements here that make you question how you would think or behave if put into such a trying situation. This game also is very engageing when you get to the class trail segmets, these parts are easily my favorite as they are a nice mix of narrative and gameplay.

This is a great soild game. I orignally played this game on Newgrounds and was excited that it was getting a steam release. What makes this game work is that at its core gameplay there is a solid foundation of turn based rpg. This game honeslty feels more solid than some AAA rpgs that come out. The mechanics of elemental strengths and resistances works well. You mix up your skills and equipment to have the correct element to hurt them while trying to have defense that is resitant to the element they are attacking with. On top of the solid gameplay there is the cute aesthetic. This game has a cute charm that makes it very likable. There is also a fair amount of humor that is both it's own jokes as well as references to other video games. The steam version adds in some equipment and an extra mode where you can fight harder versions of the bosses and other enemies. Overall a very fun game.

This game is not only fun but normally cheap. Bored and got an hour to waste? Spend it in Garry's mod. It so fun to dink around with the tools and characters of vavle and other games. Plus the online toybox is a hoot.
