A very good and interesting political simulation to explore and experiment with but gameplay wise it's not really the most fun or rewarding experience. Recommeded if you are interested in politics, otherwsie you might want to pass or wait for it on sale.

An interesting steam-punk take on a mini golf game but a golf game should be easy and relaxing to play and this game is neither. In this game the graphics are busy, blurry and hard on the eyes. I had to lower graphic effects to make it somewhat comfortable viewing. The sound and music are dull. The ball physics aren't great and the ball doesn't stay in the hole so that removes any satisfaction of puttting the ball. When you do complete a hole there's an annoying steam machine bouncing in your view. I only played a few holes but the courses got complicated quickly with wind machines, ramps and conveyors. It was not enjoyable and quickly became a stressful gameplay experience than a relaxing one so unlikely I will return to play any more of it.

GameGuru is a fun game maker that is geared towards making first person and third person 3D games. It is very easy to use and ideal for anyone starting out making games. Right now I wouldn't compare GameGuru to a product like Unity or Unreal as they are far more mature and difficult to learn game engines. GameGuru is still a relatively young program and the devs are constantly working on the title adding more features and increasing performance and they do a great job of listening and engaging with the community. The program supports lua scripting and comes with a bunch of assets that you can drop in and put a level together nice and quickly and also quite a decent sized store where you can buy more assets.

A simple, clean game launcher that gives you access to free games made by indie devs. Some of the games are mini games and others are prototypes or work in progress. You can give feedback direct to the devs through each games workshop page and help shape the games development.

This game is a very good rts that requires quite a bit of tactical play as well as strategy and unlike more traditional rts games this game focuses more on tactics than actions-per-minute or unit spamming.

Before each battle you must select a deck of units which you can customise to suit your play style. Initially it is a bit overwhelming because of the sheer amount of units to choose from so it's best to start with any custom deck and fine tune it after every battle as you learn more. Eventually you could have different decks to suit different strategies and maps. It's a lot of fun creating a deck, previewing the units and checking out their stats.

The graphics and effects are amazing but during a battle you probably won't get much chance to see them in all their glory. However if you win a good game make sure to play back the replay and you can view the action up close and personal.

Multiplayer seems to be where this game is at it's best and although a lot of the player base seems to have moved onto it's successor Red Dragon you can still get a game in most times. There are also single player campaigns and a skirmish play mode too. Overall I would recommend this game.

This game is like reading through a short story. The environment the game takes place in is very atmospheric and most of the time quite creepy. At €19.99 I would say the game is overpriced as I finished the game in about 2hrs and it's probably not a game I would play over and over once completed. But it was an enjoyable and interesting 2hrs so I would recommend trying to pick it up at a sale price for less than a tenner.

This is a really good space game.

The game offers various control methods to let you fly your ship like a pilot/dogfighter or play more of a commander role using turret view. At first it takes a while to get used to the controls and fight effectively with a style you like but once you play out a few battles out you will find a control style that suits you and probably end up switching between them depending on the situation and the ship you are using.

The graphics and interface are really nice and the game runs very well on my medium system which is an AMD APU with integrated graphics.

The sound effects are good but some cool warp like sound effect for the t-drive would be nice. The music is very good although perhaps some more variety would be nice especially for the battle music.

The story and voice acting is probably the weakest part of the game but the game offers plenty of freedom to explore space and play how you want to. So you can play like a pirate or a trader, mine or do missions etc. There's plenty to do and it's all fun.

The game has a nice rpg element which means you can upgrade your skills for when you are in battle and upgrade perks for various different effects like trading bonuses or ship capture bonuses etc. You can customise your ships weapons and buy bigger and better guns and ships as you progress through the ranks and acquire more credits.

Overall I would recommend getting this game, especially if you are into space games.

A good game, still in alpha and very playable but needs more polish. Some of the interface is very busy and complicated to understand at first, for example assigning time slots to deployments. With some tidying up on the interface and making it easier for the player to figure things out quicker it will be a great game. As it is, it is still a very good game worth getting.

This game offers bucket loads of space command ship immersion. You are a commander on a large spaceship complete with fighter ships, shuttle craft and a crew that you have to manage. The game interface and controls are hard to learn and you'll need to read the manual but for a game like this it is great that it has so much depth. You'll probably get lost on your first play but it's worth sticking with. As this is an old game re-released the graphics are dated now but still they are still good enough to enjoy the game. I recommend giving this game a try if you like space games, just be patient with the initial learning curve.
