Great single player game experience. As good as the original Deus EX and Human Revolution. Recomend playing Human Revolution first although you don't need to to enjoy the story here.

Encountered one crash bug when trying to upgrade weapons half through game but then the bug went away.

More graphically demanding than previous games in the series. Make sure you have a decent graphics card. I had good frame rate playing 1920x1090 on an RX560 with some settings turned down to medium.

Some minor AI gripes when you are stealing items or throwing items right in front of characters. And sometimes characters would fall through floor in top floor of headquarters area.

Disappointing to see in-game purchases for praxis points etc. but you can play through without needing them, at least on normal difficulty.

Good story and ending. Overall a good game.

I like the idea of fort games in general but this just wasn't that great. The game uses a mouse point and click control system where gameplay involves building your own fort structure then placing special components to collect resources and weapons to attack the enemy forts.

Each game can start with a truce period of time to allow some building without having to defend or attack. Once the action starts you'll find yourself jumping between trying to view and manage your own fort and trying to aim weapons and view your hits on the enemy fort. Because the game is real time you are often kept busy at your own fort repairing and rebuilding and rarely get enough time to enjoy weapon aiming and watching the damage you inflict on your enemies.

Graphics are functional at best. Presentation on the menus and interface is not good and initially confusing.

There are also up-side-down maps which makes things even more confusing, they make building harder and imo gameplay less enjoyable, so make sure to play with the more straightforward vanilla maps at first.

Overall there is some fun to be had playing Forts with some buddies but for me it's not a game I would be eager to come back to.

Breakdown DLC basically allows you to replay the same game over and over with increasing difficulty each time. It is a nice game mode that provides an extra challenge. However it is repetitive as you are always playing the same map that comes in the base game. I feel the Breakdown DLC should just be an included game mode with the base game and as a €5.99 DLC it is hard to recommend. If you want to stretch the game out then go for this DLC but I would suggest picking it up at a lower sale price if possible.

Intrigue adds more interesting decision making to Galciv. The content and features that this DLC brings are spread out over the course of a game. For example changing gov type, special ships, commonwealths, market and crisis events.

Choosing an ideal government type to suit your strategy works really well. And after a certain turn limit you can change gov again to adapt to new situations.

The new gov ships are a nice touch too that bring bonuses for your civ.

Presentation is very nice and enjoying the gameplay so far which is interesting. Worth picking up on sale if you're looking for a city development game with a focus on political decision making and voting.

Note that this game is graphically demanding (considering it's genre) so you will need a decent GPU to play at decent frame rate, which imo for a game like this shouldn't be such a limiting factor but it is.

Great game for some quick pick up and play card action. And yes it's a card game with action as every few levels you will face off against an enemy that you must beat by clearing cards to charge weapons and attack. Each enemy has good character design and their own stats so you need to plan what gear and weapons to bring into certain duels. Other non-duel levels will see you clearing the board with some having special unlockable cards and pickups.

The game has RPG elements so you can upgrade your character and equip better gear and weapons as you progress through the game. Ultimately it is a game of luck but with the RPG elements and some strategic thinking you can shift the balance in your favour and so you are not completely at the mercy of luck or randomness.

A good story plays out between levels and overall the presentation throughout the game is very polished with nice graphics and sound.

Recommended if you're looking for a good card game.

A point and click adventure game that starts out a bit dull but the story gets more interesting as you progress. The puzzles are not too difficult and I completed in two sittings at about 3hrs total. The game features an interesting time travel mechanic where you have to switch between times to solve many of the puzzles. Some funny dialog pops up every now and then to break up the mostly serious tone of the game. Recommended if you like solving puzzles and a compelling story but you might want to pick it up on sale.

An enjoyable casual point and click collect 'em up. A nice relaxing game to play with some exploration and story telling. Recommended.

Good space battle game that is great for some quick pick up and play action. Reminds me a bit of FTL but instead of focusing on the inside of ships and crew the focus here is on ship positioning and weapon ranges. Plenty of weapon types and unlockable ships. Good graphics, sound and overall a fun game to play.

If you like chess or tactical tun based battles then you will probably like this game. The first few games I wasn't sure if I liked it but then I was hooked as I learned how to move and attack with the different pieces/units. If you don't know how chess plays (which I always forget) it's an interesting and gorey way to learn. As well as a classic chess mode there is also regicide mode which adds special abilities and attacks to each unit. In regicide mode you can kill off a piece with a classic chess move or wear enemies down with the various special attacks. There are a lot of missions, skirmish and multiplayer and it's a good game for some quick pick and play battles.
