I was really starting to like the game but now that I'm midway through, the game keeps crashing. Got a 3070 Ti, so I expected it to run on high or ultra. Turns out, even setting it on low and disabling the textures DLC doesn't do anything to solve the problem.

Only played campaign, can't judge multiplayer. Might try the game again in a year and see if any updates might fix it. But I doubt it.

Have you tried installing the newest drivers or downgrade drivers if they are already up to date? When I first got my GPU it kept crashing until I updated to the latest.

ya I totally understand. This game probably has the worst autosave system I've ever seen.

What graphics driver version are you running? I hear that there are issues with (version 526.47). If so you should try this version: https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5407?=&linkId=100000160256647

@bredly Also did a reinstall and it worked for like a good hour, then another crash appeared. I then got to a point where I liberated some kind of base, but an explosion happened right when I completed it. I then got into a loop of respawning and dying because I died right on the moment of the autosave. Only way to fix that was to restart my mission and undo 2 hours of progress. Called it quits after that.

I had a similar issue when I first started running the game it ran at 10 frames max with a resolution that made me think I was going blind in real time. It ended fixing itself after I did a fresh install, try reinstalling.

@Arc, my CPU is a AMD Ryzen 7 3800X. Not the best of the bunch but certainly able to run the newest game.

You might be CPU bottlenecked, which seems to be a common problem.
