i have a lot things to say about this game
let's start with most basic stuffs , graphics are good , story is good , with a surface look of the game , its actually a good game .

the way this game manages the Saving , you save the game either through playing the story or you have to walk between territories to trigger auto save : for a normie player it wont be an issue if you just trying to play the main story , the game will save i automatically once you complete steps
but for someone who likes to discover things or collect collectibles for archiverments ,it is absolutely bad .
i make one example : if you have 1 collectible left to collect and after you collect it the game doesnt trigger the save , and the way to trigger regular save is to walk to another side of the map to get auto save , this is very annoying and waste of time , and if you dont , the game will not save and you have to collect it again so wasting more time .

: antogonists , indiana jones , these actors from this game they did very well , good expressions showing , good way of acting , expect gina
i dont know why or what was the production issue , gina she seems always smiling in this game regardless the situations we are in and it is kind like run out of the scenes most of the time .


by the time i made this review bugs are very very ANNOYING and MALICIOUS if you trying to complete archiverments
for a normie player the bugs are non existence , you dont have to worry about it at all if you just want to play the main story and finishes it .
but like i said the game is very buggy for collectibles and archiverment hunting , i feels like the game is purposely stopping me from completing archiverment .

:

: wrong indication pins , the game allows you to track quest , collect collectibles ect , and there are some that gives wrong indications on the pin that make you waste time to follow something that is wrong , i had to search youtube to find the right direction for the quest .

: bugged pin , the game will pin you to a location that has nothing , yes nothing , so it waste your 20 min of time to find something that doesn't even exist .

: bugged interactions with a NPC during a quest or for completing side quest , sometimes for some reason the game just bugged out and doesn't let you interacting with them so you cannot start/finish new/old quests , this didn't happen just once but multiple times

: and most malicious bug in my opinion and yes i will use malicious as word because it is , the game is bugged a point i can't collect the last photo ( a collectible from the game ) from what i saw from forums alot people have the same issues , and the point is this bug is exactly the second last chapter , it is not even a bug from the beginning , it is a bug near at end so you wasted so much time previously to collect collectibles then at end they gives me such malicious bug so i can't get what i deserve ( an archiverment ).


i had the game obtained literally when it was out but i had to wait 2 months before start playing ,because the game was crashing non stop, i had to wait their patches to came out , still now days i get few crashes


i have 4070 s with ryzen 5 7600x , so my device has no problem , for some reason the game fps will get bugged from 120 fps drop to 50 fps forever after finished interacted with NPCs so to solve it i had to close the game everytime once i did the interactions , luckily the bug only apperest at pre last chapter.


well i think will never play a new bethesda's game or more specifically machine games's game for atleast not 1 or 2 years passed after release i guess ,
but in conclusion i would say the game is still absolute cinema . it is really fun if you just play the main story right now , the bugs are fixable i hope in the future , and a thumb up

MID game ( NOT GOOD AND NOT BAD )

Pros :
i voted good all thanks to the story , it is 10 out 10 .
i would have voted negative if the story was bad and that's the only positivity in this game in my opinion

cons :
there is one lethal bug that i encountered in the game , that bug stucked me for 30 min , when you are at the beginning of the story
there will be a dart mission , the dart cursor was missing for me and without it, i cannot throw the dart and cannot progress the mission
at end i solved it by clicking at random to let it throw .


the game it's self is not scary at all during whole gameplay , the only thing that scares players in this game , are jumpscares and only jumpscare there are.
as horror game it is very mediocre and i don't like the fact, they only able to scare people by just doing jumpscares and you get used to it when you are at 1/3 of the game progress ,
since all the jumpscares they used are all basically the same and predictable at point it doesn't scare you anymore.

for players who never touched horror game and want to join that type of games ,
i would say it is not very great as first game to play , maybe you can play this one later after you played other horror game as practicing.
like i said it only uses jumpscares to scare people .
but still it worths the play , the story is amazing.

- INTRODUCTIONS
a 3rd person person game , that tells about a roman soldier during corrupted age of roman empire , fighting against the barbarian leagues
- graphic and campaign scenes
.THE GRAPHIC : is spectacular for a 2014 game , there are some nerfs on the graphics ofc example on a siege mission , the enemies in the background quality are reduced
and also used the fog effect to cover massive amount of enemy soldiers , it is understandable since it is old game and overrall graphic in general is amazing
.THE CAMPAIGN : varieties of the field campaigns , each mission you will get completely new vision experiences : canal forest , village/city of antique empire rome , the creepy dark woods , the high tower siege , the colosseum arena .
not only that , the feeling sensitive impact is also insane , expecially in the siege tower campaign , when the enemy firerocks from trebuchets hit the wall or hit near you , the sounds and motions and the damages feels really real and impactful .
- COMBAT SYSTEM
combat system is pretty common , nothing really special , you attack , you heavy attack , you can counter attack , you can break the enemies defenses then attack or using heavy break defenses for tougher enemies , block enemies attack then counter attack,
you can accumulate energies , use your energies to activate the ability to stun your enemies and speed up your attack .
the counter attack shows with the colors : blue and yellow , in order of each color you have to click right or left of the mouse , if you clicked the correct one you gets bonus .
there is one thing i like is the excution animations .
.PROS - the excution animations : allows you to trigger many different animations to finish of an enemy in low HP usually are cut of the neck or the arm , but it can be triggered with exclusive animations too .
example : if you were next to a wall ( the protagonist will smash his enemy head to wall)
or you were next to a barricade with spines , ( the enemy will fall on the spine and go throught his belly ) .
.CONS - boss fights , i don't like the boss fights , it is simple , some bosses are basically regular enemy unites but with more HP , sometimes you will need to defeat a boring boss for 2 times don't even know the reason .
possibily for making the battle longer .
- STORY TELLING ( no spoiler )
the story is touching , it is really good , aside from everything else , the story itself is very good written and huge positive hit already just for that , if you are interested on roman history backgrounds it is definely worth it .
.CHARACTERS , each character having completely different characteristics ,
the villain characters are well written , it really makes you hate them , you will feel so satisfied when you slayed one of the villain characters ,not all villains in the game are bad , some are actually good that hits you emotionaly .
also for the good guys , you feels easily empathied and attached to them .

- SIMULATE TO BE A ROMAN SOLDIER
another good hits is , you can simulate to be an antique roman empire soldier : you can experience the roman formation against archeries ( shield and advance )
it is the most impressive thing they put in the game in my opinion , it is something i never tried out .

OVERRALL : it deserves to be played , even thou the story is very short , i finished in five and half hours , you can catch it when it went discount , if you feel the story is too short .

overall it is a decent simulating yugioh game , but the only thing i dont like , is it is always 1 year behind new cards in TCG and OCG

1) GAME CONCEPT :
Very Flashy concept for me , we play as a character with psychic illness ; everything showed in the game are actually not real but all made up by the protagonist , hallucinations and illusions , giving a total new experience for the game comparing to other games i have played .
Representation of hallucinations in the game are represented with voices that specks around your left and right ears
thanks to the game using 3D binaural sound , the game is also kind of ASMR game , i gets tingles at first time .

2) MECHANISM :
the game has 2 cores in gameplay ; puzzle solving and combats
i like the puzzle design , it is not something we usually see , it's pretty unique, and i will leave the combats system for later because that's the only thing i didn't like about that game .

3) 3D BINAURAL SOUND AND AMBIENT DESIGN :
The most banger part of the game , those are my favorite about this game , whole game used 3d binaural sound effect , from waterfall , water splashing sounds , whispering voices , and raining sounds ect ect , super relaxing and realistic , it feels like those sounds are around you , so better playing with headphones to maximize your experience ,
the game is relaxing at same time horrifying, the ambient design is gloomy , dark , and terrifying
with the 3d binaural sounds effect , it gives massive horror to the player , at end of the last two chapters the game became too intensity i actually took off my headphones , because was too scary ,
The game is scary NOT BECAUSE it has some creepy monsters or jump scare or anything , But because of the gloomy environment and creepy voices coming round 360 degree .
the 3d binaural sounds effect in this game is super well made , i saw behind the scene video on how they made it

4) COMBAT SYSTEM :
most hated part of the game , i don't like it at all , reasons are following ;
A) during combat you can't running around , your vision became short , and your vision is forced to lock-on 1 single enemy target , you can't turn your vision left or right and your speed is slow also when there are multiple enemies since your vision is short , you will lose some enemies sign and they sneak strike you from behind , only way to avoid the attack is by paying attention on the voices telling you to * WATCH OUT * * YOUR BEHIND * ,
the lock-on targets will forced to switched to another enemy if the enemy hit you and you failed to dodge , that's annoying because im type of person that likes to finish one target and then start another one , that system forced me to switch back .
B ) all the combat fields are narrow from the start of the game till the end , most of time you will gets stuck on a awkward position and you die because of it .

5) ENEMIES 3D MODEL DESIGN AND BOSSES :
i don't like the combat system but i actually the enemies design , they are cool ,and many types of enemies , the bosses are insanely exciting to fight with at least , and their design is good

6) FUNNY DETAILS ON STORY TELLING AND DIALOGUES :
i just find out that since our character having psychic illness , most of time our protagonist saying random things that is not understandable about the meaning , but when i finished the game and trying for the second , re-hearing what protagonist said , i actually can understand the meaning now , that's because you finally understood the whole story of the game once you finished , and it is AWESOME design . but sadly this funny detail will be experienced only if you play for the second time on a some chapters ,
another funny things is developers made explanation video inside the game explaining about the story and protagonist's life , i guess they are worried that players gets confused about the story or didn't understand at all about the story , so they made this video.

7) WORTH TO BUY ?
totally worth it , the game offers an unique experience , unique concept at least for me , only disappointment i guess it the combat system but i hope this game gets sequel or any similar game from the same developers , because i really enjoyed it .

One of the few games i really enjoyed so much . in those past years , nice storytelling and also gameplay experience is awesome

1) STORYTELLING
design on chapters are very good , not boring at all , it has multiple climax in many chapters ,
also has many surprises that astonished me while playing thought the story , it gives unexpected overturn on story telling ,
the design of the story is very hard to predict about how it will going to end and what will happen , a story that you wouldn't even expected that will end that way or close to what you thought would end .

2) COMBAT SYSTEM
I LIKE SO MUCH ABOUT THE COMBAT SYSTEM , it is not hard , pretty easy to get handy .
you can shoot with your guns and strike the enemies with melee weapons WITHOUT THE NEED OF SWITCHING WEAPONS
YES . you can swap your attacks from guns to melee weapons , WITHOUT THE NEED OF SWITCHING IT WITH YOUR MOUSE WHEEL , your right click is gun shoot and your left click is to swing your melee weapon
maybe i played so less games , or i was too naive , but this is the first game that it has so smooth combat system design
and it is 10 years ago games ! .
Also the melee combat system has combo design in it and execution animations , that is similar to mortal combat type of games , it is simple combo , animation for executions aren't a lot but i think it is awesome

3) WEAPON EQUIPMENT
at early chapters you are only able to use weak weapons , like pistol and a knife , then when you are arriving at 50% of the story , the game gives you the best equipment , like HAMMER / AXE / THERMAL SNIPER / JETPACK / RAZER GUN ECT..
then after 50% of the story , like around 60 to 70 % they took all your best weapon equipment away and gives you weak / normal weapons again ,
i think that's good design because if they don't do that the game will be just too easy , you are undefeatable with the best weapons equipment

4) MULTIPLAYER
unfortunately i played this game after 10 years of the release date , it is not possible to play versus mod anymore
but fortunately i was able to play extermination mod (4 PLAYERS AND DEFEND THE WAVES )
from what i have understood multiplayer mod consist on grinding levels , so you can unlock new classes and better weapons , grenade ect .. it's very time consuming , i didn't like it .

5) WORTH TO BUY ?
in my opinion it is 10 years ago game , and price is pretty expensive even discounted now in 2021/ 12 /22 , but i think it is worth it , especially if you are 40k fan , definitely worth it's price
im ready and hyped for War hammer space marine 2 !!!

Underrated game ,also not addictive game but totally worth an up vote
the game has his downsides and upsides

Downsides of the game : Character 3D model movement looks awkward , AI isn't very clever , maps are repetitive ,no tank or aircraft so far only Infantry . gameplay is repetitive also
Upsides of the game : i like the small details they made .
like example : double vision when you put gas mask on
or : going through barbed wire makes you slow down and take decent amount of damage
or : reloading animation on the gun , witch is detailed and good , and graphics in general is good

after all it is not a bad game and worth to try it out

- even thou this game is free i got , but i will be honest in review
it is basically a fishing simulator without a boat and set in antartica
most boring game ever i sit there for 15 min looking at hole waiting a fish getting hooked
and nothing yes first 15 min of wait and nothing
then another 15 min i got a fish hooked finally , then i looked at the fish , its ugly , for TOTAL 30 MIN WAIT FOR A FISH ! i smashed that fish on the floor

30 MIN FOR A FISH ! better go fishing in real life bruh
