Great game for fans of South Park.
Somewhat limited run-time. Not a whole ton of replayability, but it does make for a fun ride once or twice around.

I usually hate decimal reviews but would rate 8.7 /10. Definitely worth a buy, especially if on sale.

The forums/community is somewhat dead, so don't expect too much help. The community guides are pretty helpful, and youtube videos exist to clear up any confusions ya might have

96 mods from nexus and counting later; highly recommended, if for gameplay module customizing alone

It's a classic
Great mix of casual turn based strategy + 1rst/3rd person in the galactic conquest modes
Kinda crappy balancing
Buttloads of gamemodes
No MTX :)

Got a numbskull like me into changing tie rods and looking around for crank shaft. Definitely worth the 3 dollars during the summer sale

Early Access Review
Before you read the Do Not Recommend and walk on:

There are some in development features that look exciting to retouch on in a future iteration including:

Mech Legs. I love me some mech-i-pedes
Mega Bots. I love me some big bots.
New Maps. I love me some variety.

There was some other stuff shown on their kickstarter page but given how funding efforts went, it's uncertain how much of the remaining content on said list has plans for active or down the line development.

It's a build and drive game with interesting premise but:

-Really needs PC resource overhaul. Why should I be in the main page consuming more graphics resources than the main game?

-Really Really needs an AI overhaul. Good luck recovering the game with a majority of your dimwitted ai teammates tunnel cuddling in the depths while the score tower is getting medic blasted to Mount Cheyenne levels of fortifications in 7 seconds flat.

- Balancing. Time to kill ( TTK) has a ridiculously high disparity on either end. Infinite shield bois are still around and non partial shield users have a very high probability to get instant broken by rail gun bots and/or pubstars.

- Needs more than 1 map/ 1 game mode. Need I say more? Besides the build game loop, it gets aweful repetetive playing on the same map over and over

- Planned future subscription service kinda bugs me out a bit. The plan was thrown around on Discord but not with concrete numbers. I'd love to throw a bit here or there ( or just buy the title like other Early access games) but putting down some math on an arbitrarily picked 1 dollar a month contribution:

1 dollar a month @ relatively high interest rate 7 percent would take ~ $171.42 of dividend stock to generate

Why not just put out some lifetime premium version of the game for 10 or 15 dollars flat? Even some low cost silly cosmetics I might drop a bit of coinage on. Announcing a subscription service being worked on with all these issues?
Spooky.

I'd give it a recommend for short bits of play, but at the moment there are too many parts of the game that need work with unknown timelines to recommend it as your regular build n' drive game,

Do keep it bookmarked though. I plan to check back and alter my review accordingly

This game gives me massive headaches.

Like it has great artstyle but I couldn't play anymore than 10 minutes before I couldn't take it

Great game; traversal and challenges are fun to do, and enemies are challenging, but not OP so. Saints row 4 fans will rejoice at this title.

Wish the game had just some more content. If the game had modder support ( certain things like overcharge earning rate needs a look at). 21:9 updated graphics compatibility, and unlocked PC multiplayer, it would be golden

4/5; I really really hope this game gets continued support or a sequel

I've been waiting since release of the game for it to get up to par. Whether the publishers aren't permitting the dev team to commit to fixes, who knows?

All I know is this game has no real content, buttloads of annoying ass driving missions, characters and plots you'd have difficulty measuring any dimension to, and no real defense or raiding mechanics like the superior Just Cause 3. The developers hear about player reviews regarding lacking base content in the game, so what do they do?

DLC,DLC,DLC!

I spent a hundred dollars trying to support the developers, we as players have waited for the base game to be fixed. Not only do the devs completely kick base game players in the rear, but they are doing it to expansion pass owners with:

MOAR DRIVING GAMEPLAY in DLC

RIVETING CARDBOARD CUTOUT TARGETS
and!

PREMIUM COST WEAPONS THAT DON'T EVEN MAKE IT TO GOLD/EXPANSION PASS OWNERS

Yall just couldnt make the base game fun and enjoyable, you had to cut out some parts we loved/many others we hated in the game, place them in dlc, and make upgrade mechanics stupidly unfun and tedious. I've been waiting and waiting, and yall just keeping kicking it in the rear. Time to look for a new type of Just Cause style franchise, because this franchise is circling the drain

Started play ~ 2 months ago
Came in with friends + clan of 20+
Everyone is now gone
We all got ganked to death

Game is fun but balance analysis is god aweful, and matchmaker will match your beginner clan against pubstar clans with a scarily high probability. You will be dunked into the wonderful world of drones + platoon piledriving, then wait on the devs' "Soon TM" explanation for incoming changes.

Sure, the game is free to play, but for the offering of premium which is either 45 dollars, or roughly 60 dollars per year for what? The promise to play a game with a few extra colors and slow af content development? I'd be willing to throw yall a bone if their was a bit more tread with the dev's steps

Good move on removing cancerous lootboxes.

Matchmaking doesnt do it's job proper; and when it comes time to bringing in tiers for builds; I feel you guys are just going to ahve the same existing issue of platoon piledrivers onto newbies; with the added bonus of clans owning specific tiers.

Ganking is commonplace, Art/fun builds are dead, with some weird quasi focus on very specific parts in the game with complete and utter disregard for others ( sleds, insect legs, treads with camera, etc). Be prepared for teammates and enemies alike to sh*t on your build even though it isnt in league play. Also be prepared to see a team of 1000 hour + gods come in and curbstomp you and your friends' jaws in; on repeat; because matchmaker can't seperate these individuals into their own tier, or recognize the outcome of communications vs none.

It's falling into the crossout trap of taking forever for balancing/analysis to go through, while bleeding playerbase throughout

Until they show greater plans for parts + matchmaker, balancing or adjusting/regarding long lost build types and reintegrating them into the game I've uninstalled + I cannot recommend this game until some major changes are made

First time playing, game throws you into match with ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cars and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ guns vs opponents with ridiculous weapon and armor capacities. There isn't even a tutorial before they give you a way and multiple reasons to throw them money

Start at level 0. should play with other 0's
