This is Command & Conquer 4 remastered into Starcraft. It's bad.

Im not asking! YOU WILL PLAY IT AND YOU WILL ENJOY IT!

The game is fantastic. Visuals, sounds, units, everything despite this games flaws. For starters, this game has excellent cutscenes, unit attack visuals with animations and not to mention Frank Klepacki with others giving the game the perfect vibe we want and wanted as C&C fans.

The Good

• As mentioned. The game is fantastic in it's visuals. The maps are well designed, units great, textures and everything is high quality including the unit animations and attack animations.
  
• Exceptional Sound design. The game has some of the best rock hitting soundtracks. Would highly recommend to listen to them without the gameplay.
  
• Animated cut-scenes. The game offers high quality cut-scenes for each faction.
  
• Better re-design. The unit icons for vehicles looks much better. Since the tester phased and closed alpha the dev's have redesigned them. Now the unit icons look much better and upgrade colours are fixed.
  
• The upgrade systems and intel are clear and easy to master. Now descriptions and how to farm intel are much clear and how it can be used. New players can easily learn and master them.
  
• Both factions (except Veti since they not playable during this review) seem quite balanced. Both have their ups and downs. Both have strong air-superiority and artillery. Giving perfect balance for up and downs.

The Bad

• They haven't fixed A.I. and pathing since closed Alpha and closed Beta. A.I. is either to easy to beat or stuck. Certain units when moving across map stop and get trapped. Either in air, underground or just on a corner.
  
• The game butchered the story. Both the GDF and Dynasty story starts to build suspense for the game. And then just kills it. The story is rushed basically. The Veti just appear and you quickly get rid off them with no engagement or interest. Feels very bland and rushed as if they ran out of budget.
  
• Lack of maps. Skirmish has only a few maps. Very limited.
  
• The game sounds despite being well made clash between each other. Certain units voicelines are either too quiet or too loud. The music seems to block certain units voicelines. Really puts a question. Why was it not fixed since closed alpha and beta?

Overall

Don't know. The game has it's strong and weak points. It feels very weak in story setting and rushed in campaign. It feels like Command & Conquer but not a replacement franchise. It fails to hit the mark of engagement and interest. Therefore, I rate this, "7/10 Good Game Brandon!"

Context
All this free mod does is improve models, lighting, textures, particles and makes models look more fancy. Whilst using more of your CPU and GPU for those trade offs. Sad reality is if they did that without RTX people would have same if not similar effects/models and lighting as well as more FPS, Less loading time!

Conclusion
This is actully a bad project. Whoever funded this and thought it was a good idea you made an L. There is no worth in this project. Yes its not made by valve. But seeing Half Life: Alyx mod for pc without vr and comparing what this mod offers to me. Nowhere near modern gaming performance. Heck, it doesn't even look good as RE:4 or RE: Village or even the Cinematic mod for Half Life. Yeah the mod everyone hates which offers a much better experience than this in all aspects.

I hope this project gets cancelled. Because it is a late out of season April Fools Joke. Honestly, this is mockery of Half Life 2!

The Good

- The story is well crafted and implemented. Gotta be the most important thing.
- NPCS don't say a lot of garbage. Thank you devs.
- Good Graphics
- Almost classical gameplay mixed with non-classical gameplay
- Good Voice Acting
- A contrast between how the past thought the future could be and how it is
- Also not to mention best soundtrack
- All dialogue is voice and is done with no complaints!
- The Auto-save system is also great. Even if something goes wrong it saves your progress!
- Balanced skill build up! The fact your skill doesn't stack so you can't spam helps reduce making the game too easy! Thanks Devs.
- Good progression systems with materia. Really well thought out that you need to level up yourself, your materia and so on. Gotta put a thumbs up to that.
- The crispy cinematics. Characters look realistic and feel very well made. It is just as excellent as the original FF7 from over 10 years ago.
- Find game too hard? Set it to easy mode and enjoy it.
- Cloud in dress makes a perfect waifu.
- But most importantly runs well on most systems of hardware be it 30 fps or 60 fps or low or high. The game runs well with no trouble.

What is lacking

- The ability to explore. Most areas feel good in design and game feeling but lack extra treasure for exploring. Game treasure system feels quite empty.
- Cosmetics don't appear only weapon items. Which sadly sucks.
- Weapon upgrade system is "ok" could have been better thought out. Like more choices.
- Spell system feels bland. The character abilities are well crafted. Spells don't seem all shiny except "cure" which sucks. Nothing special just bland animations.
- Side-quests are too basic to complete and just feel like pointless side quests but doing so can get rewards. Would be nicer if there was a better system more faster in pace and more interesting than boring go investigate, talk to people, fight and so on.
- The mini-games too easy and can be cleared in 1 try. It needs a difficulty boost. Also the awards suck.

The Bad

- Parts of the original game are cut from a serious tone to a more silly one. Didn't quite like that.
- The bugs and glitches. Issue 1: Exploration, these additional quests fail to complete and need to reset from save to finally make them complete. Issue 2: Too bright lighting, makes you restart game. Issue 3: Too dark lighting, makes you restart game or else black screen till you load menu to exit. Issue 4: Enemies freeze in air in middle of combat.
- Blocking with clouds sword isn't real. You still take damage but less. It ain't worth to block multi-hit attacks as the damage is still too great.
- Materia and summoning ability is flawed. You need the right elements against the right enemies or else game difficulty will be too hard and you will find it impossible to proceed with the materia you own. Meaning if you invest in just lightning and wind. The fire (firaga) element will make you lose because you didn't master it. Summons, also need to be thoughtout as they are game breaking. Some are too op against enemies making fights like too many minutes slower or some make them too long.
- Game Balance is bad. Some enemies in early game too op some too hard. Reno is fast as **** boi and has made me lost x6 times while the Rude fight took 1 fight.


With much positive and cons. It is fair to say this has been a blast to play in 2024 for first time since the original. I have enjoyed everything of the game despite its flaws. I can't wait to finish it. If you are looking for a classic RPG game with modern gameplay style of combat and classic controls look no further FF7: Remake Intergrade is the game of the year that you wanna play!
