Its the og dark souls but like cooler, what more could you want. Play this game if you're interested in soulslikes. Its a perfect place to start if you want a real challenge and its very fun :)

good game worth the wait.

An incredibly fun and cute roguelite with tons of really fun movement tech jammed into its simple looking exterior! It's music is fun and its gameplay is even moreso. I can't recommend this game enough to anyone that wants a sweet kickass game where robots shoot other robots and hang out with rambunctious young tomboys

Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is an incredible place to start your journey into the world of Armored Core. It takes place in yet another new timeline with the biggest change being that it takes place on the far-off planet of Rubicon. Yet the heart of the series remains with you playing as the independent mercenary, Augmented Human C4-621, illegally landing on the planet in a scrappy AC and stealing the id codes of a dead mercenary to use as your own, taking on the callsign, "Raven." Once you've broken in you'll be offered jobs from various corporations all seeking to get access to this planet's magical infinite energy source "Coral" though you'll also get missions from the natives of Rubicon to fight against these corporations. In the end you will decide which jobs to take and which jobs to leave to your fellow mercenaries who might do the job a lot differently changing the trajectory of the plot. The story is complex but not too hard to parse with a bit of thought, the main thing you should really be focusing on is earning credits, upgrading your mech, and not dying out there, cuz on Rubicon almost everything wants you dead, be it corporations tangling you up in their bloody feuds, Rubiconians desperate to push back the corporate tides, other independent mercenaries with their own cryptic motivations, or even the planet itself, you'll never know what's coming for you.

Ever since its initial early access release this game has skyrocketed with its improvements. I cannot recommend it enough. The physics engine may need a bit of work and the reputation system could use some for finesse and tuning, but overall this isn't a game you want to sleep on.
