This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks.

That is all.

Half-Life 2 was my introduction to this franchise, and I enjoyed quite a bit of it back then.

But now that I'm familiar with HL1, I can confidently say that it blows HL2 right out of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ water. The pacing in this game is much faster, and the variety of weapons and enemies is more rich. This is a no-brainer if you enjoy FPS games.

As a singleplayer sandbox, this game is one of the best around. There are constantly new addons to toy around with, and you can make your own if you have the expertise for it.

As a hub for multiplayer, this game is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad. The "RP" game modes absolutely dominate the server browser, and I don't think "Trouble in Terrorist Town" is fun either. You might have a difficult time finding a server that you truly enjoy.

A different kind of Source engine multiplayer shooter. The gunplay is unlike what you might have experienced before, so be mindful when shooting. Or you could try to snipe heads with the bow. Or you could throw dynamite at people. Lots of ways to have fun with this game.

I'm still mad that the portable whiskey was removed from the default loadout, though.

This game is an experience that is several layers deep, but sadly I spoiled some of those layers for myself because it was a little too difficult for me. If you're going to play it, please be patient with it, and don't make the same mistake I did.

As time passes, it will be either one of the shiniest hidden gems in Steam's entire catalog, or widely praised for years to come.

Either way, future games should take inspiration from the instruction manual gimmick. That is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ genius.

What an embarrassing waste of potential. I enjoyed my time quite a lot for the first few days after launch. But now?

Fúck everything about this game. Fúck it for removing Steam profile names, which is an act of absolute cowardice when every other multiplayer game shows my own name just fine. Fúck it for going free-to-play, and consequently destroying the purpose of the gameplay by replacing crowns with microtransactions. Fúck it for abandoning the Steam storefront, and betraying the initial loyal consumers like me. Just... fúck.

This game is... just okay. There's really nothing special about it.

I don't find it as fun as Enter the Gungeon, and Enter the Gungeon isn't a very fun game to begin with.

If you threw Binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne into a blender, this game is exactly what would come out of it. But it isn't as content-rich as Isaac, nor is it as fast-paced as NT. It's very polished, though it's not very fun.

Also, ♥♥♥♥ Dodge Roll for abandoning their original idea of a larger, paid DLC. Seriously, ♥♥♥♥ them.

Edmund's attempt at a legally distinct Super Meat Boy sequel, without having the addictingly fast pace of Super Meat Boy. Not a bad platformer, but not my favorite platformer either.

At least this game has Ridiculon's best OST by a country mile.

An open-world game which I loved on my first playthrough, before slowly realizing how boring it is without mods.

Really though, what the ♥♥♥♥ else can I say about it that isn't something everyone else already said?
