Good RPG. Love Maces.

15 minute unskippable cutscene before you even get to the main menu

Fantastic expansion. Glad they upped the difficulty from the base game to make post game and NG+ characters viable to use without being overpowered.

Intentionally designed to waste your time.

Not even being able to play the seasonal maps without paying is ridiculous. Greedy as hell.

Good puzzles but excessive yapping from the awful voice actors.

Good factory game. At least one dimension better than factorio.

The game runtime of about 8-9 or so hours is 3 hours of cut scenes and probably another hour or two of slow walking following npcs. The remaining gameplay is significantly worse than either of the previous games, with even more and worse RPG mechanics.
Somehow, they have also ruined the CLIMBING, the grappling hook doesnt work half the time and many times when jumping off a wall croft just throws her self into a pit for no reason.
The story also blows, but that's business as usual for tomb raider.

Quite a bit better than the previous installment in the series, improved RPG mechanics in crafting and weapon mods, marginally better combat and puzzles, less offensive treatment of Croft as a character. Worth it on sale for sure. still way too many cutscenes though, ~2.5h worth in the 10 hour runtime.

1/4th of the game runtime is cutscenes. another quarter is QTEs. The remaining gameplay is just one linear corridor after another, interspersed with crummy shootouts with the same enemy type over and over again.
There is exactly one unique combat encounter, and even that is recycled for the final "boss" fight. There are only 7 "tombs" in the entire game, and they take about 5 minutes to walk through, each of them include only one BOTW tier shrine puzzle.
Lara Croft has also somehow turned into a whiny millenial, whos only character development is getting more and more injuries in every cutscene.
