as a preamble I want to nullify your concerns about WATER
it is a non issue
if I wanted to I could max out my water cap in maybe 10 hours. Even if you played 1 hour per day, you only need 2 weeks to max out your water cap and have 40ish stress-free hours of gameplay ahead of you assuming this is the only thing you played (and if u only have 1 hour per day you are a fool for multi-tasking games in the first place)
there are set spawns for water in every map that once memorised will give you consistent safety
a disappointing facet of the water feature for me is that there is nothing to spend water on.. I had assumed that Innard upgrades cost water but they don't which is disappointing becuase it removes some of the tension from the water system

This game is really fun and not nearly a finished game, it is riddled with performance issues and the weirdest bugs, the movement is really clunky and frustrating, guns fire slower when you're a client in someone's game
there's just so much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jank in this game...
but I'm still loving what's here a lot

my machine is not very strong and I never thought I would allow myself to suffer through 720p @ 50% Resolution Scale just to get acceptable frames but the feelign you get sprinting through the middle of ashen mesa while Europan hunters are magdumping at you is great, when you are spamming the healthpack key hoping to the machine gods that you can extract with your riches is excillirating

this game is the feeling of Tarkov without all the dreaded gear fear or tarkov's one-raid-per-birthday loading screen problem, Tarkov just gives me anxiety to even load into a single raid, while this game only gives me anxiety as that I see a robot dog walking past me and praying to every god out there that I am not noticed

Both being a little rat and getting away with picking up loot from fresh corpses while the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that made them are only 3 meters away is an amazing feeling and being the one to create corpses is also an amazing feeling

ok now everythign I hate
customising guns is a pain in the ass, and why is every attachment just called "gun muzzle abc123"? the icons in the vendor are so small I have no idea what gun anythign can go on
can I use this supressor on this gun? idk the description just says "it do many gun :)" ok ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but which ones?? if its all guns THEN SAY ALL GUNS ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :(
and I dont like selling items one at a time

I would like this game so much more if my pc wasnt old enough to attend the 2nd grade

All other survival games are obsolete after this one

boring when played for a long time

yeah I like this a lot but it's kinda easy and a little boring after your first successful excape, the route really needs to be a little longer but I think devs already know this, a great reminder to people what early access actually means. in the current state, its great to hop on for an hour or so and do a quick escape
I'm certainly looking forward to what devs have cooking

I've been to the future and this is what it looks like, and if you don't like it then democracy camp is waiting for you!

seriously though if you havent already seen this game blow up on all your social channels then I can reccomend it for you,
the developers are actual human beings
the monetization is not overpriced like other GAAS (still sucks that its there but at least you can actually earn the IGC just by playing which is a based move
the game was solid at release (barring server issues-- which I can assure you was a "suffering from success" kind of deal because helldivers 1 had a peak of 7000 concurrent players where this game has about 400k just on steam, likely somewhere around 700k with ps5 players included
game's just fun, theres no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to enjoying the game you just hop in and play, alone if u want to but the MM is actually good enough to get u some randos into ur game or to join a randos game and have fun

like overall this is a return to form for gaming, a nice middle ground where players enjoy the game and devs have a revenue stream but the game doesnt rip the clothes off your back if you want to buy a skin

jokes aside this is an amazing 8 ish hour adventure, unlike other "we'll make hl3 ourselves" games this along with the first game are more of a side story instead of trying to fit a game into the crazed ramblings of eric wolpaw in epistle 3, well the first one is a bit harder to follow but this game is brilliant. I honestly bellieve this is gonna be the best we'll for out of the half life universe for a while, like a decade or something. while a lot of the themes in this game felt a bit fantasy it was still interesting and I think it all melded well together, (minor spoiler ahead here) also whenever willson says to leave him, leave him- he has little checkpoints to make room for gameplay

I like the game, I have fun in the game but it's kind of a sorry release, this would have been great in 2012 but it's falling behind the curve now. the game is a downstep from fallout 4 in some ways, which was a bit already behind the times in 2015... idk man, wait for a sale or buy a key, this game is fine, it's fun but it's not 60€-in-2023 fun.

I think game devs are more depressed as time goes on and it shows in the games
