I have not been addicted this hard to a game in a long, long time. It feels like every time I explore just a little more, I find something new. I have some new goal I want to accomplish. One more planet to land on. One more station to board, and view the ships coming and going, waiting for one to try to barter for. Goods to donate, upgrades to pour through and install, missions to complete to get standing and expansions, words to learn... and I haven't even started building a proper base yet!

I'm playing before I to go to work, playing when I get home, I am losing my time to this game and I just have to, /have/ to see what's around each and every curve. Do I start searching for buried technology, for future upgrades? Do I focus on building standing? Maybe I'll check in on my settlement and see if I can help them expand. Maybe cruise around in space and see what pops up when using the pulse drive. Gotta send cruisers out on missions as well, see what they bring back! And I still need to find materials to go to other stars I can't even touch yet!

I can't recommend it enough. I want to take a week off work just to play this.

Teleglitch is brutal.

For all its frustration and difficulty, however, this game is well worth your time. It is a challenging, fast paced, top down shooter that tosses you into the middle of a challenge and waits to see your demise. There's intensity despite the blocky graphics, anxiety as you venture into each new room, and those small flashes of hope when you find ammo, or health, that make you want to play again and again when you inevitably die.
