I'm not saying the game is the best in the series, but it's the only one of the last three games that got me hooked.

Pros:
- Nice story, well developed characters that are not just episodic even tho it feels so at first
- Playing the odin part feels cool and a good break from the main story if you feel like it gets repetitive
- I for one like the main character and the choices you have to make while being peer pressured by the difference in religious themes between the characters

Cons:
- The game suffers from the deadly sin all ubisoft games suffer in the last few years. It's an open world that was designed with the purpose of milking as much gaming hours as it can from the player. It's big, and i mean way too big, you can get lost in exploring, yes, but the distance between explorable areas is so big it makes me just wanna get to the story point already because it makes me feel like i'm wasting time while exploring and finding the same thing over and over. Had a few nice surprises at first with cool characters that have different backstories behind them that you can only find while exploring, but it started feeling flat after a few hours in.
