What an amazing addition.
Taking advantage of the Goldsrc engine, Condition Zero now focuses on a campaign that is genuinely interesting. Although being the basic "do these challenges" and "win 3 rounds" kind of campaign, it's still interesting to say the least. The more you play, the better upgrades you get for the bots.
Private servers finally have bot options to play with, just like in Source.
Overall recommended and a much better sequel to Counter-Strike.

As much of a classic as this one is, I have to say that it genuinely wasn't all that enjoyable.
Just because a game is old and nostalgic doesn't outright prove the quality of it. This is the case for Counter-Strike.
CS was first a modification for Half-Life and soon turned into a Valve game. Soon, it turned into one of the most popular shooters in history.
However, during my walkthrough and gameplay of the game, I noticed that the game didn't have a very active playerbase. That's alright, every once in a while you can find people playing still.
However, the moment that I try to make a server for myself, I realize that bots are non-existant to add in your own, private server. There is definitely a way, but I just didn't have time to get it to work. Counter Strike: Source has this feature available at all times.
Presented with the same boring menu that almost every single Goldsrc game has (Half-Life, Day of Defeat, any other CS game before CSS, etc.), I couldn't customize the crosshair the way I wanted to.
I also want to mention how the in-game HUD felt like garbage. It was extremely bare-bones.

But overall, it's Counter-Strike. It's the first entry, give it a break. Since then, VALVe has been able to improve the franchise over time. I personally wouldn't recommend it because of how bare-bones it is.
But if you like Counter-Strike, try Counter-Strike: Source.
