yes the game has it's issues, however at its core it is a very fun game to play with friends if you're a fan of elden ring. there are very few new bosses to fight but the game play is changed up completely. Unlike elden ring where you need to set aside a few hours to feel like you're going to get anywhere in the game, you can launch this, play for 40 minutes and be satisfied with your progress.

I've had my moneys worth and can't wait to see what future content updates fromsoft will implement into the game

Not the typical horror game I would go for but it gave me a lot of nostalgia and I loved the silent hill reference at the end.
Its a pretty short game but for the price, I would say its worth it. If you're sceptical wait for it to go on sale and then it's definitely worth picking up.

Not really scary compared to other games, but the atmosphere is very well executed and i enjoyed the story, and it was a lot more indepth than I initially thought it was going to be.

I really want to give this game a good review as I love it when it works well however... running the game on a mid/high end rig and it crashing twice during the same comp match with constant fps fluctuations, stutters and freezing I can't suggest anyone downloads the game in its current state, despite all optimisations and fixes I've gone through I cannot get a smooth experience.

This is the most un-optimised program I've ever had the displeasure of using, PLEASE fix memory leak issues and optimisation as this is ruining the game for 99% of players and will drive people away very fast. You have a gem of a game here, dont mess it up.

very enjoyable, this is what "The day before" was meant to be but a much more interesting premise. The only issues I have with the game are waiting around in co-op as you can't combine quests with friends afaik and the performance, however I have heard that the official client has much better performance compared to the steam version. Overall, I am very impressed with this game, especially considering it is ftp. The constant dev communication has been very refreshing as well

face pace story that has more content than the original separate ways and also elaborates more on the lore, replay value for speedruns but even if you're just looking at playing it once I would say with the quality of this dlc, it is easily worth the low price tag. If you enjoyed the RE4 remake, this is a must buy

amazing potential, unfortunately this game was released in a terrible state. Launched with NO anti cheat on game pass, even after patches to fix this issue, hacking is still rampant. This game was launched in an abysmal state with NOTHING from the beta being fixed. The devs deleting threads on reddit giving them POSITIVE constructive criticism, if something is not done fast with this game it will die much like all other asym horror games. This was definitely released at least 3 months too early just for a quick money grab

Victims:
If you're not matching hackers then you're practically guaranteed to match other players that are abusing the multiple game breaking exploits such as sissy making you unable to move with rubber legs unintentionally stacking, hitchhiker holding you hostage in a well after placing a trap near a ladder, bubba being able to 1 shot you through 3 stacks of No Sell and 50 toughness using an overheat exploit, johnny being able to swing and gain insane amount of distance that looks very uninentional (unsure if this is intentional) or just cook spamming their ability on you so you get a headache from the constant laughing in your ear.

Family:
Family is a miserable experience if you're not in a 3 man team due to no pining system and people refusing to type in text chat or talk on mic, also fuse box escapes are far too easy for victims, and if they're not using the fuse box you're probably on slaughterhouse where valve will be used and its very difficult for family to get to and disable or you're playing on gas station and the victims only have 2 doors to open before they get out.

I truly want this game to succeed as it was fun in the beta and the first week of the game before the exploits, hacking and most efficient strategies were figured out. Save your £30 as it is certainly not worth the price in its current state and I'm just disappointed the devs don't seem to care

UPDATE:

now the game is practically dead, they're trying their hardest to collect as much money as possible from the addicts by charging you $10 PER CHARACTER, so if you want the new survivor and family you need to pay $20, which is half the price of the game
