KSP requires a fair amount of time investment to get a full return, but once you're in it's one of the top simulators of the past 5 years.

If you're interested in the idea then it's fantastic, and with such wide-ranging mod support there isn't really much of a ceiling to what can actually be done, you could be playing this game forever and continue to do new things.

It felt a little like the transitions between dev teams have been a bit rough but the game is on a great track now and I cannot wait for the sequel. Can't recommend enough.
