WE ARE SO BACK

Very good game story and writing wise, some of the best writing if not the best writing of a video game. The gameplay isn't as stellar but its not as rough as a lot of naysayers think it is I'd say. It's definitely not spectacular (it was better in early access when it was turn based but the community whined about it sadly). It's a proper roguelike after all, much like the original rogue where progress at the start was slow and you die you lose all your progress. However unlike many other roguelikes, combat is on the whole avoidable or can be cheesed out very easily. End game monsters such as the Mt. Nomad can be cheesed out by abusing your engine, its not super exciting and a bit of a slog but it works.

Definitely though the high point of this game is the writing, each storylet is fascinating and with Zubmarine the trade routes you can take allow the player to hit up a bunch of stories in one route while making the big dosh.

Speaking of trade routes, learn them. There's some good guides already out there of what ports buy/sell what goods, don't be afraid to use them until you get the hang of it.

10/10 writing and metagame, combat is a 6/10, music is 10/10, artstyle is 8/10 and Zubmariner is a 10/10 DLC which perfectly expands upon the game.

9/10 game overall I'd say

its bland, choices don't matter, all endings are equally ♥♥♥♥♥ and the fact that you can choose a choice and the MC will delete your choice to type one of the other choices is horrible

but eh what do you expect when the creator is a full on fedora tipping neckbeard and doesn't understand actual relationships other then: you are jerk therefore girl leaves, you are nice therefore girl finds you creepy

gameplay is great and thats about it
open world is empty and worse than that feels empty
story is half a**ed, especially for a metal gear game
konami sucks as usual

warhammer fantasy may be dead (thanks age of skubmar) but its legacy will live on
combat is solid with great variation in weapons (both ranged and melee)
the skaven are perfectly overwhelming and each unique skaven is harder but not unfair
difficulties ramp up well and secrets are hidden cleverly
all in all it is great to play

BEST WAIFUS 10/10

good, morrowind & and Oblivion are better RPGs just for better class/faction restrictions as well as the use of stamina. However that does not mean that this is a bad game in any way. PS get mods that they say to pay for, from NexusMods
