No other game comes close to the sheer aggression and unrelenting tenacity Doom: Eternal and it's DLC bring to the table.

One of the most immersive and intense shooters I have ever played! Atmospheric, brutal, fun.

There isn't much that compares to shattering skulls with a medieval guitar while screaming at the top of your lungs. The sheer brutality you can inflict on others at any moment makes you feel...powerful...

It ran fine a year ago but now it takes 30 minutes for me to join a server and then the game crashes. Great. EDIT: I found that an SSD could be kinda necessary for this game because a regular HDD can't really handle all the loading of objects and stuff but maybe having more than 8-16GB RAM would help too. UPDATE: I've got myself an SSD and now I join servers in 30 seconds or in the worst case 2-3 minutes, depending on what kind of server it is. I don't know if this will be the case for everyone but I thought I'd share some info. The game actually turned out to be fun so I decided to recommend it after all, but bear in mind that it might not work properly for you.

Great gameplay, the guns have a great feel. But it's buggy, glitchy and kinda unstable, and the optimization is piss poor compared to the previous game which ran flawlessly. I can say the game at its core is REALLY good, but the performance drags it down alot, atleast for me.

EDIT: The game runs good now and the bugs are kept to a minimum. Sniping is still a bit funky though because there is a scope glitch sometimes, but rarely. I'm sure they'll fix that too.

The gunplay is insane. Just pure badassery, that's it.

If you have a premade team you can always have good/fun matches but random matchmaking is almost unplayable now. 90% of the time you get angry, triggered or griefing teammates. I'm thinking of deleting the game if this doesn't change soon.
