Wow talk about a waste of time. Have you thought about having to grind for your grind? Well that's what I just did. Saw that they added a new descendant to the game and tried to get her. I've got 30 hours on record for the game, so not long when compared to games of the same type like destiny or warframe but not an insignificant amount of time either.

I got the first part no problem from doing a dungeon but had to get the second from something called "zone recon". now this is a mission type that you have to "stealth" in order to complete, what they want you to do is kill all the enemies then hack a console to get the good loot at the end. But it REALLY means is go and farm sharen who has 3 spots you have a 20% chance to get from each. THEN you have to wait for 3 days or so for her to craft. Which isnt something that im opposed to BUT REMEMBER im not farming cause i want to PLAY sharen. im FARMING TO DO A SIDE OBJECTIVE TO GET THE ONE THAT I WANT. this isnt an issue in warframe or in destiny.

On top of all that the progression in this game is whack. did you have a legendary weapon you really liked using but it took you a while to farm? too bad, you gotta go out there and farm that sucker a whole bunch more times to level up that weapon. did you have a purple tier weapon that you really liked but its falling off? too bad, you gotta go out there and farm for a level up slave for that weapon in order to make it viable. Wait whats that? it doesnt increase the secondary stats? ah too bad looks like you have to use whatever weapon drops from the current area in order to do well in any boss fights.

And on the topic of boss fights. Did they really have to be that problematic? Im not one for soulslike encounters but i dont mind trying to fight a boss thats tough but doable. The bosses in this game however are literally the most annoying things ever, they shoehorn you into exclusively taking one elemental type to challenge their weakness, and forcing you to build defense for their specific damage type. Ive probably tried most of these bosses about 20 times before i had to reach out and ask someone whos done it already to carry me. I've had no other game force me to do that before.

And as another thing, even if i wanted to buy the new charachter out right, she costs more than 20 dollars to get. and because its more than 20 dollars, the only premium currency option is like 50 dollars with a whole bunch of coins left over that you cant buy anything else with, really scummy mobile game pricing right there. Also all the skins in this game are either really boring for men or really slooty for woman.

3/10 experience, go play warframe or destiny. Or try out Once Human which just came out recently as well.

Many levels of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with this title. Expect mobile game BS up the wazoo. It's one thing for you to lock your OP chars behind and absurd paywall, its another to give basic stat boosts to someone for paying gold. Ability damage and health will be lower for you starting off, top this with your first few chars being somewhat mid and you have yourself the clash of clans version of DKO. Game has potential but loses its charm when you spot a P2W whale... Go play DKO or omega strikers instead

games really fun but the new heros are an absolute pain to work towards. On top of that, youre gonna fine that even if youre ping is fine the server is going to have an aneurysm and choke up for 10 seconds at a time often leading to your death or some other BS.

Its a fun hero shooter, with every character just being a glorified dps. which isnt bad but it isnt something that really speaks to the "hero" part of the "hero shooter".

snipers can 1 tap to the head,
gun tank is like moira but more busted.
the cosmetics arent worth it.
nothing is free.
the most broken chars have to be bought (besides mahiroo he kinda sucks)
bad map design
poor monetization again, its really bad. have to unlock chars in the battle pass but you wont get them for at least 2 season

The only good thing to come out of RIOT games

cranking volume to unhealthy levels
maxing out your gamma
tell yourself that you suck
finding that one weapon

EDIT: Hunt Showdown 1896 has some huge flaws, and many recent negative reviews are pointing towards the UI changes. However there are REAL problems hidden deep within the update. Namely many crashes pertaining to opening your map in match, ressing people, and more. Also issues with shadows not rendering for 5XX series radeon graphics cards. Though the game is flawed, the changes made to the game recently are a huge step up in experience for most of us and a great breath of fresh air. I hope that the SMALL flaws that people are review bombing about gets patched and the game gets back to a regular pace. And when it does I hope to see you out in the mountains cowboy

Imagine if you took fall guys and made it as chaotic as couch party mario kart. youve got this game

The mmr and matchmaking system in this game feels flawed.

I cant think of a reason you should'nt buy this game. the value to experience is just over the top. Just the terrain generation alone in this game has me so incredibly impressed and its not even the big part of what you'll be impressed with while playing
