Before the release, the gameplay videos shared by developers seemed "soulles" to me since it looked too much like Bloodborne beyond the boundaries of inspiration. But having experienced and finished the full game, i was able to understand how special this game is.

As a Bloodborne fan yearning for anything remotely close to the said masterpiece, i got way more than what i expected from Lies of P. Combat is on par with the From Software games, story is quite interesting and the gameplay overall is always kept fresh with unique implementations. Also the soundtrack can be considered as some of the best the genre has seen.

Overall, only things Lies of P falls short from some of the soulsborne games are level design and maybe a tiny bit of enemy variety. With that being said, as a souls veteran i definitely wouldn't be able to tell that this game wasn't made by From Software and like i mentioned at my title, i think it's better than some of the games they made.

I'm looking forward to a possible DLC and sequel.
