Very fun game, haven't had to spend a cent on it outside of the initial purchase. Takes a minute to get used to the controls but once you do its very fluid and easy to get into a game quickly.

This game feels kinda bad. Aim assist still works when you turn it off, making the crossbow aim for the chest when you aim at the head, meaning enemies behind a wall that's chest high are safe. Gameplay wise there are good moments, especially in regards to the Yellow Zone, but you're forced too often to ride bikes up ramps, and gadget use under a firefight is clunky. The weapon wheel starts at the top left so instinctively you would try to rotate clockwise/counter clockwise and the arrow just flies all over the place. If you need to craft then throw a molotov, good luck. You might craft one, and left it on RC car deployment, dropping it in front of you as you get shot repeatedly. Imo scripted missions would've been better than the Far Cry formula.

At this point I'm just playing through to get to timesplitters 2, so my suffering is worth but if the whole game wasn't there, I wouldn't buy this if you haven't already.

I've played on and off since closed beta and its always been a fun game. Go in, kill a bunch of things, get loot, get out. Not much to stress you out and lots of content if you're new to the game.

I was playing this game before steam had it. Even after, I was still playing on the dedicated launcher. I'm probably close to 2,000 hours at this point considering how much i've played it.
